First ever penalty nomination!
From Morty’sTV:
Last Night : While Amber and Daniele were out of the house on their “mystery trip,” all hell broke loose in the Big Brother house when Jen took Dick’s cigarettes, crushed them and poured bleach on them (VIDEO) in the SR. Then, Jen goes to the kitchen and makes herself a turkey burger, which she eats followed by an apple, a half pink of cottage cheese, a cucumber and another turkey burger. This is shocking, because Jen is on the slop diet. Jen’s behavior earned her the first ever penalty nomination in US BB history. Next week, Jen will be on the block with the two nominees selected by the HoH.
Jen will not be able to compete in the PoV, and no one will be allowed to use the PoV to take her off the block. The alliance of Jessica, Eric, Dick and Daniele figure this is a perfect excuse to evict Jameka this week, and as much as Dick hates to have her around for another week, they are planning to evict Jen next week.
Looks like my prayers may have been answered (no pun intended) and Jameka could be leaving this week! But that’s not all… Morty’s also reported this:
A New Plan: While sitting on the patio, Dick and Zach came up with a plan. Because Jen will be on the block next week, and since it’s a forgone conclusion that everyone will vote to evict Jen [as Dustin was sure that everyone who vote to evict Dick], they think they should throw the HoH contest to Amber. Why Amber? If Amber wins HoH, then the next week she won’t be eligible compete in that HoH contest. This virtually secures, Jessica, Eric, Zach, Dick and Daniele as the final five. Dick is exuberant over this new plan. Dick goes inside to use the bathroom, and Zach, alone says out loud, “It wasn’t your idea, it was mine. You think you came up with it all on your own. You think you’re in charge, but you’re not. I will take you to the end, then I will kick your ass.” (VIDEO)
I’m just really psyched about all these new changes because it’s actually something entertaining… which the show has been lacking for a few weeks. I was really happy when Dustin got evicted for the very same reasons. The look on his face, the total shock, the way that Amber (and to a lesser extent Jameka) had no idea…. it was all totally priceless. Crazy stuff is what makes for good tv. I’m glad to see that things are finally heating up again.

And Jen is the same girl who thought Dick should be thrown out of the house for pouring iced tea on her head. Now she’s slapping him and destroying his property and all she gets is a penalty nom?

jen is good looking and has a slightly crazy side - sweet! so sweet. it sucks if jameka goes home this week if it goes down as you said it would. its kinda like they are penalizing her when it was jen who stole private property and broke the rules (this says two things, cbs likes jen even if they are “penalizing” her and that past agressions by dick weren’t as easy to shrug off as it appeared on tv). i guess on the bright side, i am going to be visiting your big brother site more often because like this week, next week seems like its going to be predictable. ugh. curb your enthusiasm couldn’t return at a better time!
a couple of points from the show. eric has no poker face. if he starts off a sentence w/ a giggle or a smirk he is bsing. amber will give up the moon and needs to stop invoking God’s name and her daughter into every promise she makes. and oh yeah, danielle is dick’s puppet. he will build her up now but i gotta wonder in the end, will that do more harm than good?
oh yes, eric is also the jealous type. now i see why he wanted nick gone (cause when i first heard he did, i was suprised) because it seems like its the same reason why he wants zach gone. he feels they interrupt his ‘game’ and i am not talking about strategy.

I just love that you referenced Curb Your Enthusiasm. I love that show! I think HBO has some of the best comedies on TV right now… Curb, Entourage, and my favorite, Flight of the Conchords.
Thankfully, with all that good stuff, there will be a lot of distractions… oh, and It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia is coming back on FX too. Honestly, I’m feeling ready for BB to wrap up and for the fall TV season to start.

This isn’t going to be long. I actually created my own big brother blog. I thought I stepped over the lines with the length of my comments in previous posts (if I did sorry!).
I think tonight was a definite win-win. You and many others were happy to see Jen go home and myself and many others (I hope) were happy to see it didn’t have to be at Jameka’s expense. I don’t know the story behind it but I am happy CBS lessened the penalty or at least saw the original penalty as much of a punishment to Jameka as it was for Jen.
Next week might be more exciting that I originally anticipated. Jessica made it clear last week she wants Danielle out. Maybe she accomplishes that this week.
Oh and what about CBS pushing this Nick thing? I know you are happy. Anything for ratings, eh? It wouldn’t shock me if these two are recruited to appear on that CBS reality show where people team up w/ one another (I want to say the Navigator or the The Greatest Race…i dunno)
side note: HBO has some good shows. I like Curb Your Enthusiasm, The Wire, and Entourage (what happened to the girl Turtle was dating?!). I also like their sports show (Inside the NFL, Real Sports, etc). I only watch the Shield on FX. I tried to get into that Sunny show but it didn’t hold my attention. I will admit though, I do enjoy their promos.

I think I posted here earlier tonight but I am not sure…
With Jessica winning HoH, and Jen exiting earlier than expected, I think this week has potential. Even though Jessica is in an alliance with Dick and Danielle she could back out of it and target them both for eviction this week. It would be no shock since she did say she wanted Daniele gone two weeks ago. While I think if she did nominate them both this week, either Dick or Daniele would be going home, it still would be a risky move because both Daniele and Dick are good competitors. Next week she would have a huge target on her back and since the people she would have to ally with (Amber, Eric, and Jameka (you can even include Zach in this conversation if you wanted to stretch)) have neither won a veto or head of household compeition. That might be too much exposure for Jessica to deal with.
Then again, it might be her only move. Yeah, Dick and Daniele said they wouldn’t nominate her or Eric until the final four but Daniele did promise to keep Kail in the house the week she nominated her and eventually saw her get evicted and both turned on Jen, a member of their own alliance. Whatever the case might be, this week has potential for excitement, even if its all based in my head.
