I could not be happier that Dick won tonight! He played a great game (even though he screwed up a few times) and he totally deserved it.
During the final episode, the jury was forced to confront the fact that Dick and Daniele had made it to the final two. There was a lot of bitterness and snippy commenting, but eventually they had to make a decision.
America voted for Dick, which meant Eric had to convince the other evicted house guests to vote for Dick to win. That’s not an easy task considering that he personally attacked every single one of them. Still, Eric urged everyone to focus on strategic moves and persuasion. He said that, even though Daniele dominated in competitions (particularly the veto comp with her 5 wins) Dick was able to play a mental game that defeated every single person in his path. Even Amber, who hates Dick, had to say that she thought Dick was the better competitor because he was playing the game for two people, himself and his daughter.
Surprisingly, almost everyone in the house voted for Dick to win, saying that they focused on who played the fame to the fullest. In the end, only Jameka and Jen voted for Daniele to win.
The rest of the evicted house guests were also there on finale night and we got to hear a bit from them. Nick looked hot (as always!) Joe was amusing and kinda made me feel like he got voted out too soon. If I had to pick between him and Dustin, I would have much rather kept Joe in the house because, though he was also arrogant at times, at least he was funny.
Janelle was also in attendance tonight and holding a big sign that said “We trust the Donatos”. She seemed very happy that they were in the final two and very happy that Dick won.

Just a reminder that the BB8 FINALE is on TONIGHT!
Who will win, Dick or Daniele?
Obviously, I vote Dick. He’s played this game from the very beginning and he’s maintained a Dr. Will style in every move he’s made. Honestly, I doubt Dick will win and I think that little brat Daniele will end up going home with the prize (and I don’t mean Nick).
Just a few hours to go before the live finale on CBS.
The most recent results in the Love ‘Em or Leave ‘Em poll on CBS.com show that Dick is America’s favorite player. Hopefully, that means that everyone also picked for the final America’s Player vote. I don’t know if that will help him win the game, but it’d be nice when they reveal the AP twist and everyone realizes that America likes Dick the most. No one else even comes close.
It’s no real surprise that America likes Dick more than Daniele. In the last few episodes, she had been such a whiny bitch to her dad. She keeps telling him to shut up, keeps acting like she’s super sick of him, and says nothing when he tells her he loves her. Clearly, that brat has only used her dad to get to the final two. I’m hoping that her little scheme doesn’t work and she ends up losing the game.
In related news, Dick is also the front runner in the Grand Prize poll on CBS.com. This means that most voters think he will win over Daniele.
The live finale is tomorrow night on CBS. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that Dick will win the show. The Donatos are on par with Chill Town as far as the greatest alliances in BB history.
Despite staying out there for almost 8 hours, Dick lost the first part of the HOH competition, leaving me to believe that time might be up for one of the Donatos. He was very upset and looked like he might drop dead after the whole thing. I felt really bad for him because he’s older than everyone else, but he still put up a hell of a fight in that competition. He deserved to win, he just didn’t have the physical ability to do it…. Plus, Zach’s a robot so he probably could have stayed up there until someone had to come in and change his battery.
In the second HOH competition, Dick smoked Daniele in an underwater puzzle solving contest. He took less than half as much time to complete the puzzle, making him a clear winner.
Next he had to face off against Zach in the final, and most important, competition of the season. In the final HOH competition, Dick and Zach were quizzed about what the sequestered jury members said during their time in the jury house. Dick was ahead after the first question, which asked what Amber’s most annoying moment was. Amber answered that seeing Jen cry over her picture was the most annoying moment. Dick answered correctly, putting him in a lead he held on to for the rest of the game.
In the end, he won the final HOH and evicted Zach live on the show tonight.
This leaves Dick and Daniele in the final two! Their alliance is on par with Chill Town because it landed both of its members in the finals. I’m still hoping Dick wins, but I’m so happy that the Donatos pulled it out tonight that I don’t even care which one wins.
I can’t even imagine the jury’s face when they find out that BOTH of the Donatos are the finalists and they HAVE TO vote for one of them to win!!!
In a shocking move, Daniele used the veto to save HER DAD! Of course, she did it when it totally didn’t matter and she wasn’t putting herself out there in any way, but it’s something, right?
Dick cast the only eviction vote and evicted Jameka. Jameka went out with major class, which gave her points in my book. She was thankful for the experience and she seemed to see through Zach’s “you restored my faith in God” comment. (Which was such BS by the way!)
We finally got to see the sequester house and Jen is there, despite the fact that she loudly proclaimed that she wouldn’t go. Dustin thinks he’s the leader of the losers, and I guess he kinda is. He has got to be one of the most arrogant people to play this game since Jase or Mike Boogie. He was sobbing when Amber arrived… which was funny. Everyone kept waiting for one of the Donatos to walk through the door, but kept seeing people from their own alliance. Jessica seemed surprised, but kinda happy, to see Eric enter the house.
The jury watched a quick video of Eric’s eviction and that brought us to up speed with the live show Tuesday.
After Jameka’s eviction, the remaining three headed into the backyard for the HOH competition. They had to stand on a pedestal, holding on to their key while a pole went past them and they had to jump over it. By the time BBAD was on, Daniele was off the pedestal and sobbing in the shower. Dick and Zach were still on by the time BBAD ended.
Today, I found out that Zach outlasted Dick in this endurance competition and won the first part of the most important HOH competition of the season. (LAME!) Part two and three are yet to be played, but hopefully a Donato can beat Zach in the last round and win the final HOH.
Daniele does not deserve to win this game. Even though she’s this year’s Veto queen with 5 wins (tying Janelle for most in a single season), she has relied on other people to do her dirty work and basically floated through the season. That being said, I certainly don’t want Zach to win. That creepy nerd is only a step up from Eric in the socially awkward scale, not to mention that his game play was lame. He was SO transparent in his ass kissing and siding with whoever was in power. I don’t see how anyone in the jury house could respect him enough to give him the money, even if he was against Dick in the end.
Obviously, I hope Dick wins this game. I think he’s really kicked ass in the house so far, playing a mental game and teaming up with Daniele to dominate in competitions. The Donatos are like Chill Town in their team strategy and that kind of play deserves the prize.
I’m keeping my fingers crossed for the Donatos in the final two!
I have no idea what went down, and I guess we won’t know for sure until Sunday, but Dick and Daniele are now on the block! I don’t know if the veto was used or if my original information about Zach’s nominations was incorrect. What the hell is going on?! I haven’t been watching the feeds or BBAD. I’m so out of the loop!
Right now though, it looks like the Donatos are on the block this week. LAME!
I really wanted Dick to win. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that people will be so sick of Dani’s pouting and whining that they’ll send her packing.
More to come when I find more info online somewhere. If you’re looking for breaking BB news, head over to BB Chatter. It’s a great community of BB fans who watch the feeds 24/7 and post screencaps and updates.
Final four baby! The last few weeks have been pretty boring and I couldn’t be happier that things are starting to wrap up.
Zach won HOH again. I assume you’re getting sick of seeing his face up on this blog, so I decided I’d pick a totally random picture of Nick to give your eyes a break for a while.
Jameka and Daniele are on the block and the Power of Veto is yet to be played.
Honestly, I kinda hope Daniele goes home this week. She is getting SO annoying. I can’t remember what I liked about her in the first place…. come to think of it, I never did like her in the first place. I just liked Nick and she was cool by association. She’s a whiny little brat and, if it weren’t for the men in her life carrying her along, she would never have made it this far in the game.
I know I’m going to be hated for saying this, but I hope Dick wins BB8. He’s played the shit out of this game. He’s been a huge threat for weeks now, yet no one has had the balls to get rid of him. That’s Evil Doctor style play right there. Just like with Will, everyone constantly says how they can’t wait to get rid of him when they get HOH, yet every single time, he sticks around to kick their ass in another round. Well done Mr. Donato, well done.
Regardless, it’s kind of nice to know that this whole charade will be over soon. BB is one of my favorite shows, but like a summer fling, by the time fall rolls around, I’m ready for a break.
I’m anxious to see what the producers cook up for the final competitions and who will come out on top. It should be cool to hear everyone’s comments (and look at Nick’s sexy smile) on finale night too.
I was kind of sad to see Jen go last night. I think Dick and Danielle have made some stupid moves and that Eric and the float herd are getting it too easy. Jen would have been a great wild card to have down the road somewhere.
I also think it was sad the way she had to go out. She totally had a breakdown. I think Jen is one of those people that is really fun, social, and happy. It was probably hard for her to be in a situation where she was so hated by everyone around her, completely double crossed by her new friends, and she felt like she was being tortured by the powers that be over in the production office.
People like Keith over at BB Chatter have been freaking out about Jen’s penalty, calling CBS to protest, and calling Alison Grodner some not-so-nice names on their sites. I don’t really see what all the fuss is about. Like I said, it’s a tv show. The producers can do anything they please and throw any sort of twists or turns into the season that they want. That’s how tv works. The show was lagging and I’m sure they were jumping for joy when Jen started going crazy and destroying things and eating.
I think it was kind of sad to watch, really. I mean, when she was destroying Dick’s cigs, she seemed like that bratty kind of girl she’s been in the past. While it was mean, it all seemed kind of like a game for her. Then after she started crying and nonstop eating, she seemed to be completely losing it. When she started attacking Dick and trying to grab a lit cigarette out of his hand, she looked like she was in the middle of a total Mariah Carey style break down. As she was screaming about burning herself, I just ended up feeling really, really bad for her.
On a side note, as much as I think the producers were not at all in the wrong with their decisions about Jen, I do think that it interfered with the game in a way that could end up changing things a lot in the house. Danielle started the stupidity by nominating Jen, who was in her alliance, in the veto ceremony. Still, it looked like Jen might stay and Jameka (who you all know that I hate) would go home. Then Jen added to the shit storm by flipping out and losing her mind. CBS wanted to punish her, but the penalty nomination meant nothing to her and she already said that she wanted to bail before going to the sequester house. None of their punishments meant anything to her. To me, that would have been the perfect time to keep Jen in the house because she was so completely out of her mind that she would have never been able to focus on the game from that point on. Yeah, it’s not fun to live with a crazy lady, but it might get you closer to the $500K to keep her around. I think the producers worried that players like Dick or Danielle would see that their best strategic move might be to keep Jen in the house and watch her unravel while they eliminated on of the Jesus twins. When Grodner and co. say this, they probably put the pressure on the HGs in the Diary Room to vote Jen out. If people weren’t going to vote their way, they would still have the penalty nom against Jen, they could lock up the America’s Player vote, and they could try to persuade a couple more people to vote her out. Bottom line: regardless of the game, the producers wanted Jen gone and that’s why she got evicted this week.
I can see how people are saying that it’s not fair. It definitely isn’t fair. The producers seemed to directly intervene when they saw that Jen was going to be a problem child in the house. Still, it’s a tv show and they have the right to do whatever they want. It’s like when there’s a problem actor on a tv series and the producers figure out a way to kill the character so that they can fire the actor and rid themselves of the conflict. Yes, BB isn’t a scripted tv series, but reality tv follows the same basic principles. I’m guessing that Survivor isn’t fair either, we just don’t have a 24/7 feed to see all the behind-the-scenes string pulling that takes place. But that’s cool…. it’s tv, not the Olympics. It doesn’t have to be fair.
Anyway, just wanted to weight in on the episode last night.
I’m hoping that Jessica nominated Amber and maybe Zach this week, but who knows how things go. I still want Dick to win because I think he’s playing this game in an entirely different way than everyone else (kinda like Dr. Will did) and that it’s been paying off for him so far. He’s a huge threat and yet, somehow he’s managing to escape eviction. That’s so Dr. Will. Everyone knows they need to take him out, but due to his bad behavior, they all kind of want to be sitting with him in the final two.
Ultimately, I’d like to see Amber, Jameka, or Zach gone this week so that Eric/Jess and Dick/Danielle could start to battle for the final four. Don’t make the BB6 mistake, get the float herd while you have the chance. I don’t particularly like Eric or Jess, but I think they’ve played the game well so far and I wouldn’t be bummed to see them in the final four…. with Dick and Danielle of course.
Today, the HGs were visited by some interesting characters. First, a little person in a Mad Hatter costume appeared and kept repeating common phrases. Then, BB made an announcement that it was 12:36 and 47 seconds. Next, the HGs went outside to find a pirate on stilts and a barber shop quartet. When they returned inside, there were three white rabbits on the dining room table and a living statue near the front door.
All these things have set their heads spinning and they’re frantically trying to figure out the meaning behind these symbols. It’s like watching a moron version of the Da Vinci Code. I’m not sure what it all means, but I’m happy that it gave them all something else to talk about besides the same boring crap they’ve been rehashing for the past few days. While everyone racked their brain, Eric seemed rather disinterested in the clues, making Dustin and Jessica suspicious.
At the same time, Eric must have received his orders from America and I’m guessing they said he has to vote out Dustin. (Thank you America!) He’s been campaigning to vote Dustin out all day and he’s even cut a deal with Dick and Danielle to keep them in the house. Meanwhile, Dustin has proclaimed that he is 99% certain he is staying in the house and not at all worried about being evicted. It would be so awesome if he got voted out tomorrow. The look on his face would be completely priceless. This show is lacking big surprise votes and that could really shake things up.
On that note, I want to address all the people who constantly whine that being America’s Player in hindering Eric’s game and that it’s not fair. This also goes for all the people who say, “Dick’s mean, they shouldn’t have to live with him. He should be voted out.”
First, quit whining. You’re as bad as Danielle.
Second, being America’s Player is probably the only thing that makes Eric even memorable in this cast. The dude is lame, let’s face it. He’s boring, his freaky pointy eyebrow is annoying, and he wishes he was cool so badly that it’s embarrassing to watch. If Eric wasn’t America’s Player, you’d have all hated him and wanted him gone in the second week. May I remind you that most people hated Eric in the first week and hoped he would get voted out instead of Carol. Now, all of a sudden, everyone loves Eric and wants to keep him so they can have a hand in the game through the AP vote.
I feel the same about all the people on various boards, blogs, etc. that are bashing Dick for his antics. Everyone gets all worked up when Dick calls someone out, pours a drink on Jen’s head, or makes fun of Jameka’s hypocritical Christianity. Do I need to remind you guys that his is a tv show? It’s supposed to have heroes and villains and outbursts are what keep it entertaining. Would you rather watch Dustin and Jessica lounge around in bed all day long or Amber repeating herself about her meth use over and over? Dick starting shit within the game is what makes this a tv show and not a university sociology study. Let’s not forget that without the show and the ratings, there would be no $500,000, no house, no internet feed, no daily three hour Showtime spin off, no chat rooms, no blogs, and no fans. This whole thing would cease to exist if people didn’t watch… and part of the reason people watch is so that they can see others behaving badly and having screaming fights, all from the comforts of their own couch.
I’m truly hoping that Dustin is evicted this week because it would be something entertaining. In my opinion, the show’s been lacking anything captivating for a while now. Maybe if Dustin is caught off guard, he’ll have a little diva fit on his way out the door.
Even better would be if all these clues were the sign of another twist. Perhaps someone will come back in the house, perhaps we’ll have a platinum veto, perhaps we’ll have a double HOH. Who can know for sure? The point is, hopefully the producers are cooking up a way to breathe some life into this show because it’s starting to hit that mid season slump.
No one online is quite sure of the meaning behind today’s visitors to the house, but I hope the whole thing is a symbol of coming change, and not just a spool of lies.
You guys know how much I like Amber (lol), so here’s our lovely lady bashing the Jews. Racist statements, drug addiction, two abortions and lying about two more to hurt her boyfriend, yet Amber thinks she’s as classy as Princess Dianna. What universe does she live in?!
This week’s America’s Player asks who Eric should promise to take to the final two.
Please BB fans, vote for Kail!!!
If Eric promises Kail he’ll take her to the final two, word will get out that he’s in an alliance with Kail. This time, it won’t just be Dick and Danielle who suspect him and all the speculation on tonight’s episode that Eric was the secret member of the Mrs. Robinson alliance will be confirmed.
Eric will be voted out and we won’t have to watch this lame ass douche ever again!
Eric is a liar, a loser, and a wannabe of Nick. He actually said on tonight’s episode “Nick thinks he can be bros with all the guys and then flirt with all the girls in the house. I’m actually the one doing that.” Eric is neither “bros” with any of the guys or a flirt with the girls. He is a lame ass and he needs to go!
Please vote Kail in this week’s America’s Player question so Eric will finally go home!!!
Jameka used the veto to save Jen and Nick went up on the block. I’m sure he’ll be the one going home since everyone seems to think he’s been double dipping with his alliances. I didn’t put a picture of Jameka or Jen because I now hate both of them.
I also hate Dustin, Amber, and the rest of the Nerd Herd 2.0 and I’m disappointed that Danielle and the rest of Nick’s “friends” knew this was the plan and never told him.
It sucks that, for the past three seasons, my favorite player has been backdoored and evicted. Kaysar got it twice and now Nick. What is it with this show that the hot guys I really like can’t even make it to sequester?!
Since Nick’s gone, I don’t think I’m going to update this blog as frequently. I might return to just once a week updates on Thursday night or Friday after eviction.
But… I say that every year when my favorite person gets evicted, so we’ll see if it happens.
Dustin nominated Jen and Kail for eviction (sweet!!)
The POV competition is tomorrow. Jameka, Jessica and Danielle are playing.
As a result of the food competition, Nick, Dick, Kail, Jen and Zach are on slop.
There has been a lot of tension between Dick and Amber.
Dustin said Kail was not his target and that he wanted Jen or Nick (say it ain’t so) evicted first.
I’m going to be so pissed if Nick is evicted this week! He’s so hot and I think he’s totally funny too. If he goes, who will I have left? There will be no hot guys to look at and, as far as I’m concerned, that’s 40% of the reason to watch this show!
I’m keeping my fingers crossed that it’s Jen who gets the chop instead.
Sorry to keep this so short, but I’m trying to burn a DVD and watch BBAD on Showtime as I write.
Here are some highlights from Dick’s HOH blog (in case you didn’t feel like going to the CBS site and reading the whole thing.) In his long blog post, Dick talks about his son Vincent and his daughter Danielle, the game so far, and his real feelings about the other people in the house.
On his relationship with his children…
As I think everyone watching this show should know…It has been extremely hard for both me and Daniele being thrown into this situation together. The other two situations that were part of the “twist” are not like this in any way whatsoever. Carol and Jess could care less if they ever see each other again. Joe and Dustin, the same thing applies. But Daniele is my daughter and the things I do here in the house, and in the game, can and will affect our relationship (or lack of) for the rest of our lives.
We both feel the same in the respect of…This is not fair. This is a complete and total disadvantage to each of us individually. But truth of the matter is that, it is fair. Our individual disadvantage is also the greater advantage we have on everyone else in the house. We committed to our alliance, and nothing will break that, period. Even though our personal relationship is a disaster, we both know that we can trust each other. And trust here is the most highly regarded commodity you can have in this place, period…end of story. So, although we have trouble trusting each other’s judgment at times, we trust each other’s loyalty no matter what.
Now, me and Daniele on a personal level…
Anyone out there who doubts that I truly want a deep, devoted, caring, loving relationship with my daughter should get up from their computers, walk into the kitchen and grab their biggest frying pan and proceed to hit themselves in the head with it as hard as they can for as long as they can until they fall unconscious. The rest of us will continue on…
Being here and playing out my relationship to the world on national TV is not what I want to do…But it seems that it is an opportunity for me to try and fix this mess of a relationship with my daughter. It sucks, but it doesn’t…Story of my life boys and girls, catch 22. Damned if I do and damned if I don’t kinda deal…sigh.
I don’t know what they are showing and what they aren’t, but our relationship has gone through some serious highs and lows in the last few weeks. Just this week she came up to the HOH and was yelling at me so loud that the entire house could hear it. I felt that it was hopeless. The next day I went to see if she would talk to me and after a rough start to the conversation, we ended up having the first heart to heart in over two years…and I got my first hug, although a one armed, limp one, a hug nonetheless…and it was an enormous leap for us in trying to fix this mess. Baby steps, people…
I know and fully understand that it must not be easy to have a father like me. I am not Mike Brady or Mr. Clever (if my old butt is outdating you young whipper snappers out there, I am referring to the fathers in The Brady Bunch and Leave it to Beaver.) And it must be hard in ways for both of my children, and I wish I were a different person for them in that way. But I’m not. I am who I am…and I make no apologies for who I am. I am a good person with a good heart and yes, I am a bit eccentric, I do cuss a lot, I drink, smoke, spit, fart, confront people and embarrass my kids on occasion…sorry.
What you people do not see is that my relationship with my son Vincent is truly wonderful (did I really just use the word wonderful there? Somebody hit me with a frying pan…) But it is true. I could not ask for a better relationship than I do with my son. Yes, we have ups and downs and we work through it. But we spend lots of time together and really enjoy each other’s company. I miss him dearly (did I just say dearly? What the hell is going on here?) And Vincent, I hope you are enjoying watching your old man on the show. I see you with your buddies cheering me on and going crazy when things go as they have gone for me this week in the house. I love you so much and hope you are proud of me. I miss you…And tell your grandmother the same. I hope I haven’t embarrassed you too much, and even if I have, I know that you enjoy it anyhow. I hope not to see you until the end of Sept. And FYI…I know the mileage on my Corvette there Jonesy, no driving my car or I will still kick your butt. Your sister also says hello.
A message to Danielle’s boyfriend…
Kris, realize that it is very hard here in many ways. Sometimes what seems up is really down and what is down seems up…Your head fools you and I can see your heart fooling you as well, at least for a little while. I think she realizes this and sees what is real, and you are real to her, in her life, for what she wants in life. Remember, this is only my opinion and I am not speaking for her, and as everyone watching knows, I am not as good as I think in things with my daughter, including knowing everything about how she thinks.
So, she will probably tell me I had no business saying those things, but as usual, I will anyway. But she did tell me to tell you that she loves you, misses you, is dying to see you and talk with you, and Happy Birthday…As for me, I don’t know you but for one dinner. I know you make her happy, and I can see how much she loves you. Don’t doubt her love for a second. Don’t let the show make your feelings waver for her. I will do everything I can to protect her here in the house and I want you to do the same for her outside the house. And from me…I hope you had a Happy Birthday, Bunny. And I hope to get to know you when this is all said and done.
There’s also a section where he talks about each house guest…
Jen…..
Do I have to write anything here???? Haven’t I said enough about her already? Well, yes…and no. This is a wait and see thing here. And don’t be surprised to see us working together (or at least not against each other) in the future. But yes, she is still a self-centered, self-absorbed, immature twit.
Kail….
Nice lady. But Kail crossed me and lied to me too many times for me to be able to trust her with half of my bologna sandwich, forget about trusting her with anything important in the game here. I am not sure if it has leaked out yet or not, but she will not be going home this week as I promised her. She is too easily manipulated by me and I can get so deep into her head I am bringing a lighted miners cap with me next time.
Mike….
I really do like Mike. I was surprised to hear the others say that they thought I was gonna punch him when I walked off the pedestal during the POV and told him he is gonna go up. I am stupid sometimes, but not that stupid…The guy could crush my skull with a jab. Mike made big mistakes in the game, just as Kail has. The Mrs. Robinson alliance is over and Mike should be seeing his friends next week. Sorry bro. You shouldn’t have worked to get me out last week. You underestimated me, as many here have and it is biting you in the butt first.
Eric….
Love the guy, the White Rabbit…but can’t trust him 100%. He lied to me about something stupid and that lets me know…But I will use him and his smart perspective to further myself in the game.
Dustin…..
Flips at the drop of a hat…drama queen. Will trust him only to a point. Will let him feel he is my confidant with my situation with Daniele. Will open up to him and show him emotion, but trust me…only for the game.
Jameka…..
Love this girl. What a turn around from our introduction. But she is still a bit flip about certain things. She is one of the people that is a bit smarter than she gives off and we will help each other move along in the game.
Jessica….
The ray of sunshine in the house!! I adore this girl. She is no dumb blonde, trust me…She is much smarter than she lets on. We will be working together in the game. Vincent, she thinks you are cute and I wanna set you up with her, mister…
Amber…..
Trust her only to a certain point. She is an emotional basket case. She will be booted from the house because she cannot get a hold of herself at one point or another in the game. She doesn’t even realize it yet, but some people are getting sick of this crap already, me included.
Nick…..
UUUuuuuuuuuugh!!!! Do I trust this guy or no?? I want to, but there is too much conflicting stuff that goes along with him. So, no…I don’t. But he will have to side with this side of the house for a while, as not to expose himself and get booted. His stock in the house has gone down leaps and bounds over the last week or so when I outed him in a couple of alliances.
Zack…..
On everyone’s hit list. Not liked in the house… and I can see him going next week depending on who gets HOH.
Lastly, Dick includes a little message to everyone’s favorite evil doctor…
PS……….. Have I earned myself a ChillTown card yet? And not the kind Chicken George got either…What do you think Will?
I’m happy that Dick did the right thing and nominated Mike to replace Jen after she used the veto to save herself. Mike is a key element of that trio (Mike/Jen/Kail) and removing him should be enough to eliminate them. Jen will float to another alliance and Kail will be gone within the next few weeks because no one wants to associate with her at all.
It seems like a lot of stuff went down while I was away from BB for my birthday. My favorite trio (Dick/Dani/Nick) seemed to fall apart a bit. Apparently everyone was fighting. Dick and Nick had a big blowout, Dani and Dick had a big conversation and she had a breakdown, and even Dani and Nick seemed to be pissed at each other. What has been going on around that house?
This reminds me so much of BB6 and BB7. In both those seasons, there was a solid dream team in the house that crumbled way too soon. Kaysar’s team (Kaysar/Janelle/Howie/James) was a perfect unit, a BB machine. It was like they were designed to play this game. Still, every year they all started to grow suspicious of each other and question each other constantly and it lead to a total break down of their alliance before we even hit sequester. If the strong team destroys itself, the whole game is left to the scavengers who thrive in that environment. Seeing Mike go up was such a relief for me. It meant that the good team would stick around, at least for another week.
I just didn’t want Kail and Jen to get in their heads and convince them to put up Zach instead of Mike. Eliminating Zach does nothing to push them forward in the game. Zach believes he’s with them, part of the cool team, and that’s exactly where they need to keep him to ensure that he’s not a threat to them. If Zach feels that he’s part of the team, then their enemies will become his enemies. If he wins HOH, he’ll go after Kail and what’s left of her alliance…. that is…. as long as he thinks that’s the best move for him and his group.
The only other concern I have is the Float Herd. In BB6, the strong team imploded on itself and the house was left to the Nerd Herd. Two of the worst people in BB history made it to the finals, while the good players sat in sequester. As much as I like Eric, Jameka, and Jessica, I think they’re flying under the radar and if they combine with Amber and Dustin, they could form the largest alliance in the house.
Right now, the strong players have to walk the line between getting out other threats and keeping the floaters in check. Otherwise, the BB meek will inherit the house.
For quite some time now, CBS has posted an official HoH Blog, written by the reigning HoH and published on eviction night. Usually, the blogs are about the game strategy that week, food competitions, playing for veto, and other BB-related personal memories. At the end, the HoH will sometimes give a shout out to some of their friends or family and thank everyone for watching.
Jen’s HoH blog, on the other hand, is more like those incoherent letters from Lindsay Lohan that appear in tabloids and on gossip sites.
She begins like this…
Hello…For starts this is so much fun to even be able to type…like you don’t even know. K so anyways. This week has been crazy, I am not sure if you have noticed but there has been a lot of yelling, talking, and just pure madness going on. I have for sure had the best week of all I have been able to wear a unitard all week without anyone judging me for it as well as having a blast figuring out how to make it next. My housemates have claimed that there will be a unitard fashion line created on my behalf, which is simply histarical if true. While I am writing this blog I am not sure as to what to say and I am not going to be proofing it or anything just so you all know.
I think it’s so funny that she needed to warn us about not proofing her blog, or that she needed to actually type out “like” and “K so anyways.”
She goes on to talk a little about the game, and then moves on to address her loved ones at home. This is where the blog gets hilarious.
I would also like to say happy birthday to my dad, who’s birthday is tomorrow…June 20…As well as I am so sorry that I was able to call you Mom on your birthday or to even tell you I was gone…:( Good thing I sent your present early :-). I would also like to thank you Kara for taking care of my life while I am gone. :-) I would also like to thank you Jamie for getting my mail…hopefully…I know I kind of just mailed you my key and didn’t even ask. Also just so you know George I put automatic payments for all of the stable bills for the next three months and I then typed it up and put it by the printer…i hope that you have already found that so we are not double paying any bills. Also I miss all of you, I really do, I am having a lot of fun, but I still can’t wait to see you. Gigi, Nikko, Kyle, Andrew we will have to make a special trip when I get back and have a slumber party or something :-)….Don’t think I forgot about you Ronnie, you have to come out and visit so you can hang out with me and everyone else. Also If anyone could please just drive my car around the neighborhood for 5 minutes that would be great, the keys are in my car.
First, apparently she thinks it’s June. Then, when she’s talking about her friend who she asked to check her mail, she basically admits that she didn’t really prearrange anything and just mailed her key assuming it would be done. Next she writes out all the details of her various bill-paying arrangements and, like a kid with ADD, moves on to start talking about her friends.
The real kicker is when she asks “anyone” to drive her car around and basically lets millions of people on the internet know that her keys are right in the car. You know, just in case someone wants to steal it while she’s locked in the BB house.
She writes a small section addressing Carol and then talks about the other people in the house…
Joe if you go home this week and read the message boards, which I am sure you will, I have been figuring out ever angle for you to stay and it just isn’t good enough, Evel if you are reading this…phew..thank everyone you are not here, and stop talking about everyone you “know” and stop “name dropping” its seriously out of control, I am sure the the show has a montage count of how many names you have dropped by now…hahaha. Anyhow. Just to let everyone know this is so so much fun and even just being here has been a blast and I truly don’t care if I win in the end and It think that me getting 2nd is better then me getting 1st
After reading her little comments about Dick, it makes his HoH victory tonight even sweeter!
Lastly, she shouts out her website and myspace page, asking everyone to go add her as a friend.
also if you want to be my myspace friend you can find the link from my website www.JenJohnsonModel.com..its linked to the bottom of the first page…and I have my best friend Kara running it for me thanks again!
She includes a few more sentences about how she loves typing, even though she has nothing to write about, and makes a remark about her “sexy unitard”.
I half expected her to sign it “Be Adequite” like Lindsay Lohan and then go take some pictures holding a knife to her friend’s throat or flashing her vagina while getting out of a car.
It’s frightening that Jen is in charge of someone’s children.
Kaysar’s been on House Calls a couple times this season, but this time I wasn’t at work, so I actually got a chance to watch most of it. He said if he was in the house, he would form an alliance with Nick (which might be the hottest alliance in BB history) and he wouldn’t target the floaters like he did in BB6. He said a lot of other stuff, but I think I was too busy ogling him like a horny school girl to really pay attention.
Here’s a screencap from the show. You can view full episodes of House Calls on the CBS Big Brother site… and you can click this link to see his appearance on July 12th.
I loved seeing him on, but I’m really missing his facial hair. It makes him look even hotter.
Last night I realized that I totally have a crush on Nick. Like Hardy and Kaysar before him, he is this year’s uber hottie. Here are a few reasons why I’m hoping Nick wins, or at least makes it to sequester.
Reason 1: He’s got a killer body.
As we all saw during his intro video, Nick’s happy to give America two tickets to the gun show. While he was once listed as a pro football player and now merely as “former football player”, we can tell just by looking at him that he is clearly a dude who has spent some time in a weight room. His hot bod totally reminds me of Hardy from BB2, who just so happened to be one of my favorite players from that season. Maybe it’s the Hardy association that makes me like Nick, but whatever the cause, I’m definitely a fan of Nick’s killer bod.
Reason 2: He’s funny.
Nick’s got a dry sense of humor that makes it hard to tell if he’s joking or being totally serious. He makes wise cracks with a completely straight face and people like Jen can find that difficult to interpret. I remember thinking he was really funny during a conversation he had with Danielle in the hammock during the first week. Zach was there and saying he thought Danielle was the best looking girl in the house, while Nick joked about her being fat and flirtatiously teased her. He’s made a bunch of really funny statements since then, but those crucial early moments made me take notice of his sense of humor.
Reason 3: Everybody loves Nick.
Since the first week in, it seems like practically everyone in the house has developed a crush on him. He flirted with Danielle, but Joe also had a crush on him right away. The fact that almost all the girls in the house think he’s a babe, and a lot of the guys do too is further proof that Nick’s got the goods. Amber has claimed to have a brother-sister relationship with him, despite her flirtatious body language and Jen wants him so bad she started making up lies about him kissing her. He doesn’t just drive the girls and the gay boys crazy, even supposedly straight boys like Eric seem to have a strong attraction to him.
Reason 4: He really cares about Danielle.
Not only does Nick have a crush on this year’s buxom blonde bombshell, but he seems to really like her as a friend too. Nick’s been adamant about trying to mend her relationship with Dick and he’s very attentive to her when she seems to be feeling down. Last night, she was hanging out in the storage room feeling bummed out when he came in to cheer her up. It’s so sweet. Their relationship isn’t like a lot of other BB shomances because it seems like there’s real emotion at the heart of it. He’s even openly professed his love for her a few times.
Reason 5: He has that cool tattoo.
I’m not quite sure what it says, but I like it. I’m just happy he doesn’t have the typical fratboy, wanna be gangsta tattoo of some phrase in Olde English writing. His tattoo seems pretty detailed and it looks like real body art as opposed to just some cursive letters on his arm. In the long history of really cut guys with tattoos in Big Brother, I would have to say his is the best. A lot can be said for a cool tattoo.
Reason 6: He looks good in anything.
Lately it seems like every time I see Nick, he’s rocking some different look. Almost every season, the hot dudes in the house get bored and start messing around with their look in search of something fun to do. Usually, the results are disastrous. In Nick’s case, it seems like everything he puts on looks great on him. That’s the mark of a true hottie. The other day he had a fedora on, which normally annoys me, but it looked super good on him. Also, I saw him with his hair slicked back and some aviator shades on. While it reminded me a little bit of the Kevin-Federline-types, it was still really cute.
Reason 7: Did I mention he’s hot?!
Seriously, Nick’s got to be the best looking guy in the house this season. I dig his personality, he’s cut, he’s got a really cute smile and the soul patch compliments his lips. I can already tell he’s going to be the Kaysar of this season, at least for me. I just hope his sticks around a little longer than Kaysar did.
Ok, so I didn’t really post this on the 12th, but Kaysar was on House Calls and looking hot!
He and Gretchen talked about Jen’s ego and compulsive lying. It was pretty funny to hear. Here’s a screen cap. Click here to go to the July 12th episode of House Calls.
It looks like Dick is becoming a bit of a stand-out on the show this year. A lot of people in the various chat forums seem to think he’s cool, a rebel, a loner who plays by his own rules.
I disagree.
I think he seems like an arrogant, self-centered, Tommy Lee wannabe. To me, Dick thinks he’s Dr. Will. He isn’t. He lacks the charm and intelligence of Dr. Will and he’s nowhere near as good looking. Dick thinks he is a calculating player, and maybe he is, but his skills are nowhere near the level of Dr. Will.
I will admit that Dick started playing the game from the gate and that he’s been trying to manipulate the various parties and create suspicion for everyone, but that doesn’t make you Dr. Will.
Dr. Will was never very obvious in his strategy. He was rarely off in a corner whispering to everyone or sneaking around. He was very upfront with his entire game. He told everyone he would lie to them and deceive them, and in the end those skills were what got him the money. Dr. Will used his sense of humor and his overall charisma to win over everyone in the house, making them think they were in a special top secret alliance. All the while, he was really only in an alliance with Boogie. Still, he made everyone feel like they were part of the cool kids club and was able to control almost every move in the game.
Dick is more like James, in my opinion. James was much sneakier than Will and played with an intensity that the Evil Doctor never felt was necessary. James acted like the game was life and death. Will acted like the game was a fun test of his powers of persuasion. James was constantly sneaking off with one or two players and whispering lies in their ears or trying to make them hate the other players. He fractured the house into groups and then hoped those groups would never find out he was the one that double crossed them all. I think Dick is headed down this very same road. He too plays the game too hard too soon.
Last night, Dick sat around taking to small groups of people and stirring things up in the house. He’s trying to create the kind of instability that allows weasels like him to thrive. This kind of game play can take you very far in the game, but rarely can it help you win in the final two. The Dr. Will strategy can’t really work twice. It didn’t even work for Will the second time around.
I think it’s more likely that Dick will land in James’ position. He might make it to sequester, but sooner or later people are going to catch on to what he’s doing.
Aside from his strategy, I think he seems like a pretty lame person. He said some really harsh and vulgar stuff about his daughter, Danielle, last night as he was ranting to this followers on the hammock. I think that’s just so wrong. If you’re a parent, you’re supposed to love your kids no matter what. You’re not supposed to treat them like crap or double cross them on a reality show!
While no one seems quite sure what exactly went down between Dick and Danielle, I think Dick’s entire attitude towards her is really horrible. I could never root for a player who seems like such an awful human being.
If Dick gets really far in this game, it’s just one more instance of people with no hearts advancing on BB. It seems like the only year when the winner was someone who actually had positive qualities was when Lisa won BB3.
Every season since that has had the worst people in the final two. Jun and Alison were horrible scheming bitches who truly wanted to hurt the other people in the house in BB4. Drew used his own showmance girlfriend to get him far in the game and then totally kicked her to the curb in the end on BB5. Hideous Maggie and her loud-mouth, annoying, idiot sidekick Ivette advanced to the finals in BB6 by floating along with no real strategy and hoping the stronger players like Janelle, Kaysar, and James imploded on themselves. And, let’s not forget last year when Mike Boogie rode Will’s coattails the entire game and then made it to the end with his showmance Skeletor–I mean Erica.
Is this show just a microcosm of society? Do assholes really get all the glory? Are we really living in a society where the person who proves they have no actual human emotions or any sense of right and wrong is the person who is on the path to success?
Though there may be one or two hot guys this season on BB, the ultimate BB eye candy has got to be Kaysar Ridha from BB6 and BB7. Not only was he smart, caring, and an all around good guy, he was drop dead gorgeous too! His good looks and charm lead Dr. Will to declare him “the Brad Pitt of Muslims” early on in the all-star season.
Both Dr. Will and Hardy from BB2 may have been sexy, but Kaysar was definitely the best looking guy in BB history.
Since I’m reminiscing about previous houseguests, here’s a picture of Kaysar in all his hot glory.
Dr. Will Kirby, or The Evil Doctor as he was known in season 2 and 7, is one of the most memorable cast members in BB history. Before we kick off the new season, I thought I’d post a video of one of Will’s best moments from last year’s all-star season.
Here is Will Kirby talking to the internet viewers in the back yard:
