Variety reported that CBS could bring back everyone’s favorite summer guilty pleasure a little earlier than expected.
It seems that with the writers’ strike, CBS is going to be turning to its reality shows to generate some new programming. BB could return as soon as February and could even be a special Celebrity Big Brother season since there are so many actors (*cough* D-Listers *cough*) out of work due to the strike.
Variety noted:
There’s been buzz that the next edition of “Big Brother” might actually use celebrities, as opposed to ordinary people. A long strike might work in favor of such a plan, since some celebs normally busy working on sitcoms and dramas might have some time on their hands.
While it sucks that great shows like ‘30 Rock’ are affected by the strike, I can’t say it wouldn’t be awesome to get a celeb season of my favorite reality show of all time.
This year, Trashwire’s Big Brother 8 coverage was the most popular section of the site for the three months the show aired.

DICK WINS BB8

I could not be happier that Dick won tonight! He played a great game (even though he screwed up a few times) and he totally deserved it.
During the final episode, the jury was forced to confront the fact that Dick and Daniele had made it to the final two. There was a lot of bitterness and snippy commenting, but eventually they had to make a decision.
America voted for Dick, which meant Eric had to convince the other evicted house guests to vote for Dick to win. That’s not an easy task considering that he personally attacked every single one of them. Still, Eric urged everyone to focus on strategic moves and persuasion. He said that, even though Daniele dominated in competitions (particularly the veto comp with her 5 wins) Dick was able to play a mental game that defeated every single person in his path. Even Amber, who hates Dick, had to say that she thought Dick was the better competitor because he was playing the game for two people, himself and his daughter.

Surprisingly, almost everyone in the house voted for Dick to win, saying that they focused on who played the fame to the fullest. In the end, only Jameka and Jen voted for Daniele to win.
The rest of the evicted house guests were also there on finale night and we got to hear a bit from them. Nick looked hot (as always!) Joe was amusing and kinda made me feel like he got voted out too soon. If I had to pick between him and Dustin, I would have much rather kept Joe in the house because, though he was also arrogant at times, at least he was funny.
Janelle was also in attendance tonight and holding a big sign that said “We trust the Donatos”. She seemed very happy that they were in the final two and very happy that Dick won.

Just a reminder that the BB8 FINALE is on TONIGHT!
Who will win, Dick or Daniele?
Obviously, I vote Dick. He’s played this game from the very beginning and he’s maintained a Dr. Will style in every move he’s made. Honestly, I doubt Dick will win and I think that little brat Daniele will end up going home with the prize (and I don’t mean Nick).
Just a few hours to go before the live finale on CBS.

Despite staying out there for almost 8 hours, Dick lost the first part of the HOH competition, leaving me to believe that time might be up for one of the Donatos. He was very upset and looked like he might drop dead after the whole thing. I felt really bad for him because he’s older than everyone else, but he still put up a hell of a fight in that competition. He deserved to win, he just didn’t have the physical ability to do it…. Plus, Zach’s a robot so he probably could have stayed up there until someone had to come in and change his battery.
In the second HOH competition, Dick smoked Daniele in an underwater puzzle solving contest. He took less than half as much time to complete the puzzle, making him a clear winner.

Next he had to face off against Zach in the final, and most important, competition of the season. In the final HOH competition, Dick and Zach were quizzed about what the sequestered jury members said during their time in the jury house. Dick was ahead after the first question, which asked what Amber’s most annoying moment was. Amber answered that seeing Jen cry over her picture was the most annoying moment. Dick answered correctly, putting him in a lead he held on to for the rest of the game.
In the end, he won the final HOH and evicted Zach live on the show tonight.

This leaves Dick and Daniele in the final two! Their alliance is on par with Chill Town because it landed both of its members in the finals. I’m still hoping Dick wins, but I’m so happy that the Donatos pulled it out tonight that I don’t even care which one wins.
I can’t even imagine the jury’s face when they find out that BOTH of the Donatos are the finalists and they HAVE TO vote for one of them to win!!!

In a shocking move, Daniele used the veto to save HER DAD! Of course, she did it when it totally didn’t matter and she wasn’t putting herself out there in any way, but it’s something, right?
Dick cast the only eviction vote and evicted Jameka. Jameka went out with major class, which gave her points in my book. She was thankful for the experience and she seemed to see through Zach’s “you restored my faith in God” comment. (Which was such BS by the way!)
We finally got to see the sequester house and Jen is there, despite the fact that she loudly proclaimed that she wouldn’t go. Dustin thinks he’s the leader of the losers, and I guess he kinda is. He has got to be one of the most arrogant people to play this game since Jase or Mike Boogie. He was sobbing when Amber arrived… which was funny. Everyone kept waiting for one of the Donatos to walk through the door, but kept seeing people from their own alliance. Jessica seemed surprised, but kinda happy, to see Eric enter the house.
The jury watched a quick video of Eric’s eviction and that brought us to up speed with the live show Tuesday.
After Jameka’s eviction, the remaining three headed into the backyard for the HOH competition. They had to stand on a pedestal, holding on to their key while a pole went past them and they had to jump over it. By the time BBAD was on, Daniele was off the pedestal and sobbing in the shower. Dick and Zach were still on by the time BBAD ended.
Today, I found out that Zach outlasted Dick in this endurance competition and won the first part of the most important HOH competition of the season. (LAME!) Part two and three are yet to be played, but hopefully a Donato can beat Zach in the last round and win the final HOH.
Daniele does not deserve to win this game. Even though she’s this year’s Veto queen with 5 wins (tying Janelle for most in a single season), she has relied on other people to do her dirty work and basically floated through the season. That being said, I certainly don’t want Zach to win. That creepy nerd is only a step up from Eric in the socially awkward scale, not to mention that his game play was lame. He was SO transparent in his ass kissing and siding with whoever was in power. I don’t see how anyone in the jury house could respect him enough to give him the money, even if he was against Dick in the end.
Obviously, I hope Dick wins this game. I think he’s really kicked ass in the house so far, playing a mental game and teaming up with Daniele to dominate in competitions. The Donatos are like Chill Town in their team strategy and that kind of play deserves the prize.
I’m keeping my fingers crossed for the Donatos in the final two!

I have no idea what went down, and I guess we won’t know for sure until Sunday, but Dick and Daniele are now on the block! I don’t know if the veto was used or if my original information about Zach’s nominations was incorrect. What the hell is going on?! I haven’t been watching the feeds or BBAD. I’m so out of the loop!

Right now though, it looks like the Donatos are on the block this week. LAME!
I really wanted Dick to win. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that people will be so sick of Dani’s pouting and whining that they’ll send her packing.

More to come when I find more info online somewhere. If you’re looking for breaking BB news, head over to BB Chatter. It’s a great community of BB fans who watch the feeds 24/7 and post screencaps and updates.

Final four baby! The last few weeks have been pretty boring and I couldn’t be happier that things are starting to wrap up.
Zach won HOH again. I assume you’re getting sick of seeing his face up on this blog, so I decided I’d pick a totally random picture of Nick to give your eyes a break for a while.

Jameka and Daniele are on the block and the Power of Veto is yet to be played.
Honestly, I kinda hope Daniele goes home this week. She is getting SO annoying. I can’t remember what I liked about her in the first place…. come to think of it, I never did like her in the first place. I just liked Nick and she was cool by association. She’s a whiny little brat and, if it weren’t for the men in her life carrying her along, she would never have made it this far in the game.
I know I’m going to be hated for saying this, but I hope Dick wins BB8. He’s played the shit out of this game. He’s been a huge threat for weeks now, yet no one has had the balls to get rid of him. That’s Evil Doctor style play right there. Just like with Will, everyone constantly says how they can’t wait to get rid of him when they get HOH, yet every single time, he sticks around to kick their ass in another round. Well done Mr. Donato, well done.
Regardless, it’s kind of nice to know that this whole charade will be over soon. BB is one of my favorite shows, but like a summer fling, by the time fall rolls around, I’m ready for a break.
I’m anxious to see what the producers cook up for the final competitions and who will come out on top. It should be cool to hear everyone’s comments (and look at Nick’s sexy smile) on finale night too.

I just got back from vacation, so I’ll make this short…
Zach is HOH
Zach nominated Jessica and Jameka for eviction
Daniele won the Power of Veto
Daniele did not use the PoV, so Jessica and Jameka are still on the block
Dick won the America’s Player vote, so Eric has been taking his cigarettes and mocking him.
Apparently, there’s been a bit on controversy surrounding the sequester house. It seems that the hurricane delayed the evicted HG’s entry to the house and that there were some undisclosed problems with Jen that lead the producers to decide against broadcasting the sequester house. Also, it seems that a reported leaked the America’s Player twist to Dustin during an interview and apparently Jen also found out about the big secret, so the two of them are being housed in solitary sequester. This is just what I heard on BB Chatter. More information can be found over here.

When we last left off, HOH Jessica had nominated Amber and Zach for eviction this week. Her smarmy little showmance, Eric, won the Power of Veto. Today was the veto ceremony. Eric did not use the veto and the nominations stayed the same. I’m guessing that Amber will go this week because most people think she’s an idiot and America will probably vote to evict her too. Amber seems so out of touch with reality in the house that it would be easy for people to vote her out. On top of that, she’s not really smart enough to process the game, so she probably wouldn’t even have any hard feelings towards Jessica or Eric if they made it to the end. It doesn’t really matter who goes between Zach and Amber, both have skated by for too long in my opinion. The veto was a yawner and everyone is getting along for the most part. If someone from the Jesus alliance was going to be voted out, I’d prefer Jameka because Amber’s idiotic theories make for some funny moments.
In other news, The Power of 10 episode with Danielle and Amber airs on Tuesday. It might be another chance to catch Amber saying some totally stupid stuff on national tv.
The eviction is Thursday and maybe something exciting will happen with HOH.
Until then, we’ll just be bored for the week.

Jessica nominated Zach and Amber
Eric won the Power of Veto
I’m hoping that the nominations stay the same, or that they use the veto to nominate Jameka. That way, they are guaranteed to take out someone from the Jesus alliance. I believe that the America’s Player vote was for Eric to get Amber nominated, and he succeeded. Now, hopefully, America will vote for him to evict her.
At the same time, this would be an ideal time for Jess and Eric to target Dick or Danielle. They would be making two huge enemies in the jury house, but almost everyone else there would probably applaud them for backstabbing the Donatos. If Eric used the veto and they nominated Danielle, they would probably be able to control the vote and only Dick would vote for her to stay. The same goes for Dick… but a lot of people have expressed that they want to be in the final two with Dick because he’s been such a , well, such a dick to everyone.
I would really love for Dick to make it to the final two because I’d be anxious to see if this works like BB2 and the person believed to be the most evil ends up winning the money.
The one glaring difference between this season and BB2 is the sequester house. In BB2, the HGs were allowed to go home and watch all the episodes before they cast their vote for the winner on finale night. Nowadays though, the jury is kept locked up in sequester, which keeps them mentally in the game instead of allowing them to reflect on it from a distance. For that reason, all those people who hated Dick when they were voted out might still hate him on finale night.
I’m just going to keep my fingers crossed that Dick stays this week and (hopefully) makes it to the final two. He’s been a kick ass player this year and he’s playing an adapted version of the infamous Dr. Will strategy. I never thought that could work a second time, but it seems to be going alright for Dick. I’d just like to see another Chill-Town-esque victory this season.

(Heroes and Villains, My Thoughts, Updates)
I was kind of sad to see Jen go last night. I think Dick and Danielle have made some stupid moves and that Eric and the float herd are getting it too easy. Jen would have been a great wild card to have down the road somewhere.
I also think it was sad the way she had to go out. She totally had a breakdown. I think Jen is one of those people that is really fun, social, and happy. It was probably hard for her to be in a situation where she was so hated by everyone around her, completely double crossed by her new friends, and she felt like she was being tortured by the powers that be over in the production office.
People like Keith over at BB Chatter have been freaking out about Jen’s penalty, calling CBS to protest, and calling Alison Grodner some not-so-nice names on their sites. I don’t really see what all the fuss is about. Like I said, it’s a tv show. The producers can do anything they please and throw any sort of twists or turns into the season that they want. That’s how tv works. The show was lagging and I’m sure they were jumping for joy when Jen started going crazy and destroying things and eating.
I think it was kind of sad to watch, really. I mean, when she was destroying Dick’s cigs, she seemed like that bratty kind of girl she’s been in the past. While it was mean, it all seemed kind of like a game for her. Then after she started crying and nonstop eating, she seemed to be completely losing it. When she started attacking Dick and trying to grab a lit cigarette out of his hand, she looked like she was in the middle of a total Mariah Carey style break down. As she was screaming about burning herself, I just ended up feeling really, really bad for her.
On a side note, as much as I think the producers were not at all in the wrong with their decisions about Jen, I do think that it interfered with the game in a way that could end up changing things a lot in the house. Danielle started the stupidity by nominating Jen, who was in her alliance, in the veto ceremony. Still, it looked like Jen might stay and Jameka (who you all know that I hate) would go home. Then Jen added to the shit storm by flipping out and losing her mind. CBS wanted to punish her, but the penalty nomination meant nothing to her and she already said that she wanted to bail before going to the sequester house. None of their punishments meant anything to her. To me, that would have been the perfect time to keep Jen in the house because she was so completely out of her mind that she would have never been able to focus on the game from that point on. Yeah, it’s not fun to live with a crazy lady, but it might get you closer to the $500K to keep her around. I think the producers worried that players like Dick or Danielle would see that their best strategic move might be to keep Jen in the house and watch her unravel while they eliminated on of the Jesus twins. When Grodner and co. say this, they probably put the pressure on the HGs in the Diary Room to vote Jen out. If people weren’t going to vote their way, they would still have the penalty nom against Jen, they could lock up the America’s Player vote, and they could try to persuade a couple more people to vote her out. Bottom line: regardless of the game, the producers wanted Jen gone and that’s why she got evicted this week.
I can see how people are saying that it’s not fair. It definitely isn’t fair. The producers seemed to directly intervene when they saw that Jen was going to be a problem child in the house. Still, it’s a tv show and they have the right to do whatever they want. It’s like when there’s a problem actor on a tv series and the producers figure out a way to kill the character so that they can fire the actor and rid themselves of the conflict. Yes, BB isn’t a scripted tv series, but reality tv follows the same basic principles. I’m guessing that Survivor isn’t fair either, we just don’t have a 24/7 feed to see all the behind-the-scenes string pulling that takes place. But that’s cool…. it’s tv, not the Olympics. It doesn’t have to be fair.
Anyway, just wanted to weight in on the episode last night.
I’m hoping that Jessica nominated Amber and maybe Zach this week, but who knows how things go. I still want Dick to win because I think he’s playing this game in an entirely different way than everyone else (kinda like Dr. Will did) and that it’s been paying off for him so far. He’s a huge threat and yet, somehow he’s managing to escape eviction. That’s so Dr. Will. Everyone knows they need to take him out, but due to his bad behavior, they all kind of want to be sitting with him in the final two.
Ultimately, I’d like to see Amber, Jameka, or Zach gone this week so that Eric/Jess and Dick/Danielle could start to battle for the final four. Don’t make the BB6 mistake, get the float herd while you have the chance. I don’t particularly like Eric or Jess, but I think they’ve played the game well so far and I wouldn’t be bummed to see them in the final four…. with Dick and Danielle of course.

From Morty’sTV:
Last Night : While Amber and Daniele were out of the house on their “mystery trip,” all hell broke loose in the Big Brother house when Jen took Dick’s cigarettes, crushed them and poured bleach on them (VIDEO) in the SR. Then, Jen goes to the kitchen and makes herself a turkey burger, which she eats followed by an apple, a half pink of cottage cheese, a cucumber and another turkey burger. This is shocking, because Jen is on the slop diet. Jen’s behavior earned her the first ever penalty nomination in US BB history. Next week, Jen will be on the block with the two nominees selected by the HoH.
Jen will not be able to compete in the PoV, and no one will be allowed to use the PoV to take her off the block. The alliance of Jessica, Eric, Dick and Daniele figure this is a perfect excuse to evict Jameka this week, and as much as Dick hates to have her around for another week, they are planning to evict Jen next week.
Looks like my prayers may have been answered (no pun intended) and Jameka could be leaving this week! But that’s not all… Morty’s also reported this:
A New Plan: While sitting on the patio, Dick and Zach came up with a plan. Because Jen will be on the block next week, and since it’s a forgone conclusion that everyone will vote to evict Jen [as Dustin was sure that everyone who vote to evict Dick], they think they should throw the HoH contest to Amber. Why Amber? If Amber wins HoH, then the next week she won’t be eligible compete in that HoH contest. This virtually secures, Jessica, Eric, Zach, Dick and Daniele as the final five. Dick is exuberant over this new plan. Dick goes inside to use the bathroom, and Zach, alone says out loud, “It wasn’t your idea, it was mine. You think you came up with it all on your own. You think you’re in charge, but you’re not. I will take you to the end, then I will kick your ass.” (VIDEO)
I’m just really psyched about all these new changes because it’s actually something entertaining… which the show has been lacking for a few weeks. I was really happy when Dustin got evicted for the very same reasons. The look on his face, the total shock, the way that Amber (and to a lesser extent Jameka) had no idea…. it was all totally priceless. Crazy stuff is what makes for good tv. I’m glad to see that things are finally heating up again.

(My Thoughts, Updates)
On tonight’s episode, there was an entire montage showing Amber’s complete lack of understanding for 99% of words in the English language. They showed her asking about the difference between “charismatic” and “charming”, then they showed all the times she’s asked, “What does [insert any word a five-year-old would know] mean?”. On the list: outed, backdoor, peanut gallery, superficial, sub-alliance, perceive, implication, and my personal favorite… integrity.
I guess it’s no surprise that Amber tells lies all the time and then, in the same breath, claims she’s never told a lie in the entire course of the game. She stabs her friends in the back, she spreads rumors, and she claims to be doing all this for God. She has no integrity, so it shouldn’t be shocking that she also has no clue what the word means.
I’m just so happy that the producers finally acknowledged the fact that Amber is the biggest idiot on network tv. I sometimes wonder if she ever completed third grade. Even Dick remarked that Amber’s eight-year-old daughter probably has a more extensive vocabulary than her mother.

It looks like Danielle made a smart move and nominated Jameka and Amber. I’m glad because I really can’t stand either of that dynamic duo. Hopefully one of them will go home this week and not Jen or some other totally irrelevant target.
UPDATE Not enough for a whole new post but…
Danielle won the veto, giving her a perfect opportunity to backdoor Eric or Jess….. but Danielle makes really bad decisions in this game, so she’ll probably put up Jen and get her evicted. Oh well, maybe Dick will win HOH next week and the Donato reign of blunders will continue.

(Heroes and Villains, My Thoughts, Updates)
Today, the HGs were visited by some interesting characters. First, a little person in a Mad Hatter costume appeared and kept repeating common phrases. Then, BB made an announcement that it was 12:36 and 47 seconds. Next, the HGs went outside to find a pirate on stilts and a barber shop quartet. When they returned inside, there were three white rabbits on the dining room table and a living statue near the front door.
All these things have set their heads spinning and they’re frantically trying to figure out the meaning behind these symbols. It’s like watching a moron version of the Da Vinci Code. I’m not sure what it all means, but I’m happy that it gave them all something else to talk about besides the same boring crap they’ve been rehashing for the past few days. While everyone racked their brain, Eric seemed rather disinterested in the clues, making Dustin and Jessica suspicious.
At the same time, Eric must have received his orders from America and I’m guessing they said he has to vote out Dustin. (Thank you America!) He’s been campaigning to vote Dustin out all day and he’s even cut a deal with Dick and Danielle to keep them in the house. Meanwhile, Dustin has proclaimed that he is 99% certain he is staying in the house and not at all worried about being evicted. It would be so awesome if he got voted out tomorrow. The look on his face would be completely priceless. This show is lacking big surprise votes and that could really shake things up.
On that note, I want to address all the people who constantly whine that being America’s Player in hindering Eric’s game and that it’s not fair. This also goes for all the people who say, “Dick’s mean, they shouldn’t have to live with him. He should be voted out.”
First, quit whining. You’re as bad as Danielle.
Second, being America’s Player is probably the only thing that makes Eric even memorable in this cast. The dude is lame, let’s face it. He’s boring, his freaky pointy eyebrow is annoying, and he wishes he was cool so badly that it’s embarrassing to watch. If Eric wasn’t America’s Player, you’d have all hated him and wanted him gone in the second week. May I remind you that most people hated Eric in the first week and hoped he would get voted out instead of Carol. Now, all of a sudden, everyone loves Eric and wants to keep him so they can have a hand in the game through the AP vote.
I feel the same about all the people on various boards, blogs, etc. that are bashing Dick for his antics. Everyone gets all worked up when Dick calls someone out, pours a drink on Jen’s head, or makes fun of Jameka’s hypocritical Christianity. Do I need to remind you guys that his is a tv show? It’s supposed to have heroes and villains and outbursts are what keep it entertaining. Would you rather watch Dustin and Jessica lounge around in bed all day long or Amber repeating herself about her meth use over and over? Dick starting shit within the game is what makes this a tv show and not a university sociology study. Let’s not forget that without the show and the ratings, there would be no $500,000, no house, no internet feed, no daily three hour Showtime spin off, no chat rooms, no blogs, and no fans. This whole thing would cease to exist if people didn’t watch… and part of the reason people watch is so that they can see others behaving badly and having screaming fights, all from the comforts of their own couch.
I’m truly hoping that Dustin is evicted this week because it would be something entertaining. In my opinion, the show’s been lacking anything captivating for a while now. Maybe if Dustin is caught off guard, he’ll have a little diva fit on his way out the door.
Even better would be if all these clues were the sign of another twist. Perhaps someone will come back in the house, perhaps we’ll have a platinum veto, perhaps we’ll have a double HOH. Who can know for sure? The point is, hopefully the producers are cooking up a way to breathe some life into this show because it’s starting to hit that mid season slump.
No one online is quite sure of the meaning behind today’s visitors to the house, but I hope the whole thing is a symbol of coming change, and not just a spool of lies.

(My Thoughts, Updates)
First off, Jameka is a fucking psycho. I’ve never seen anyone who thinks effective arguing is clapping in someone’s face. Dick wasn’t freaking out and screaming, but everyone was screaming at him. Then Jameka started screaming at Dick and started clapping about two inches from his face. I don’t even know what that was. That seems more like a method you’d use to discipline a pet than to try to explain your point to another human being.
Next, the Nerd Herd 2.0 makes me a little nauseous. I was grossed out by Eric and Dustin’s gloating after Jessica won HOH to first time I watched it, now they have to recap the pervious episode and I have to watch Eric’s little Tom Cruise fist pound and Princess Dustin prancing around like he’s Bobby Trendy a second time! I think I just threw up a little bit in my mouth.
Jessica is totally that bitchy popular girl in your school who lives by being two-faced and throwing out backhanded compliments. This past week, Jessica was finally important in the game for the first time and it went to her head faster than Dick and Dustin’s HOH power combined. From the fucktard ego bed-in that she and Dustin had to her little snippy way of answering questions during the HOH, watching Jessica has been about as tolerable as rubbing your elbow on a cheese grater.
On to Amber… I think if someone offered me $500K to be in a room with her for five minutes, I’d turn it down. These poor people have to live with her for months in this game. I think Dick’s points during the argument he had with Jameka and Amber were harsh, but totally accurate. He called Jamka on her hypocritical Christianity, made fun of her clapping in his face, and called Amber on the horrible example she is setting for her daughter. It was brutal, but it needed to be said. Amber is the worst person I’ve seen play this show since horrible Jennifer from BB6. The fact that Amber prays to God for things like “if I get HOH, please let Jameka get her perm” is so absurd that it defies the imagination. So, now the BB producers are God? Because they’re the only ones that can put a couple bottles of relaxer in Amber’s HOH basket. Oh, and did anyone hear the Jameka/Amber conversation where Amber said she wants to go on America’s Next Top Model after BB because she’s “got the hair and the face” for it?! Out… of… control. I don’t know what universe she lives in!
I love that Dick is fighting with everyone. He makes this show so much more entertaining and makes the game fun. Just like Howie’s “Busto” flip out in BB6, Dick’s many conflicts make for good tv. I’m glad he won the veto, but I’m sure he’ll use it to save Danielle and he’ll end up going home this week. The saddest part of it is Danielle is such an ungrateful little brat that she probably won’t even say thank you.
I am to the point where I really hate almost everyone on this show. It’s BARELY tolerable watch anymore. If Dick gets voted out this week, I don’t even know if I’ll keep covering it regularly. I might go to one a week updates, or just post basic stuff like who’s up, who has veto, etc.
Thankfully, I have awesome shows like Flight of the Conchords to watch after BB, so I can forget about my hour of ocular rape and actually enjoy watching tv again.

(My Thoughts, Updates)
After the big Eric/Amber confrontation, I was sure Eric would be leaving this past Thursday. I’ve been protesting the feeds and BBAD since Nick’s eviction, so I never saw the Nerd Herd come back together and decide to vote Kail out. Even though I don’t like Kail, I was pretty sad to see her leave because it meant Eric stayed and the Donatos would be target #1.
I was even more horrified when Jessica won HOH and Eric and Dustin engaged in such excessive celebration that it was almost sickening. I understand that they’re happy, their ally is in control and they can put up Dick and Danielle. Still, I don’t remember the other team gloating so much when they won HOH. Last week when Danielle won after her closest friend had been booted, I didn’t see her jumping up and down and taunting the other team or vowing revenge.
What was most surprising to me is the way that this season is playing out. It all seems eerily similar to BB6 when the cool team, the Sovereign 6, made the critical error of putting up James, an ally who they had suspected was playing both sides. They let the original Nerd Heard (see picture) get in their heads and convince them to put up one of their own instead of one of the opposing team. This meant they had cut James and Sarah from their alliance, thus losing their numerical upper hand in the game.
This year, the Donatos made the completely stupid decision to cut out Nick, someone who had vowed never to turn on either one of them. By eliminating someone who would have been their biggest ally, they let the Nerd Herd 2.o get in their heads and they lost all power in the house.
Just like in BB6, after the stronger players self-destructed their own alliance, the weaker players were able to pick them of one by one.
I think it’s totally fair that the Donatos have to pay the price for their fuck up. For them, this will be the summer of consequences. Dick and Danielle SHOULD be voted out because they’re not playing the game very well.
At the same time, this IS a tv show and Dick, in particular, is one of the most entertaining HGs ever. He’s confrontational, he’s loud, he stands out, all these are the qualities that make for good tv. As much as I think he should suffer for his strategic sins, I certainly don’t want to sit around watching Dustin and Jessica lounge around in bed and be waited on for another minute!
In BB6, the strong and likable players, like Kaysar and Janelle, made huge errors that ended up costing them the game. That’s cool, that’s fair, no problem. The only issue was that the remaining players were the most boring crop of losers I’ve ever seen. Yes, it’s a game, but it’s also a show and sitting around watching Meth Mom talk about the Bible all day long is just not what I signed up for.

I just realized I forgot to post this. I think it was because I hate the Nerd Herd so much that I don’t even want to think about them in power.

Amber totally ripped Eric a new ass today. As most of us know, Amber told Eric that she’d had two abortions, then lied about having two more abortions to hurt her boyfriend a few years back. It seems that Eric had planned to use that information to blackmail Amber into doing what he wanted in the game. She didn’t take kindly to that idea, so she screamed at him about it.
I hate Amber, but I really hope this blowout seals Eric’s eviction this week. I’m over his weird twitching, his weasel game play, and that one eyebrow that sticks way up whenever he’s in the Diary Room. Go home, Eric!
Why do all these good moments have to happen when I’m at work?!

To anyone and everyone who might read this…
This week’s America’s Player asks who Eric should promise to take to the final two.
Please BB fans, vote for Kail!!!
If Eric promises Kail he’ll take her to the final two, word will get out that he’s in an alliance with Kail. This time, it won’t just be Dick and Danielle who suspect him and all the speculation on tonight’s episode that Eric was the secret member of the Mrs. Robinson alliance will be confirmed.
Eric will be voted out and we won’t have to watch this lame ass douche ever again!
Eric is a liar, a loser, and a wannabe of Nick. He actually said on tonight’s episode “Nick thinks he can be bros with all the guys and then flirt with all the girls in the house. I’m actually the one doing that.” Eric is neither “bros” with any of the guys or a flirt with the girls. He is a lame ass and he needs to go!
Please vote Kail in this week’s America’s Player question so Eric will finally go home!!!
