I could not be happier that Dick won tonight! He played a great game (even though he screwed up a few times) and he totally deserved it.
During the final episode, the jury was forced to confront the fact that Dick and Daniele had made it to the final two. There was a lot of bitterness and snippy commenting, but eventually they had to make a decision.
America voted for Dick, which meant Eric had to convince the other evicted house guests to vote for Dick to win. That’s not an easy task considering that he personally attacked every single one of them. Still, Eric urged everyone to focus on strategic moves and persuasion. He said that, even though Daniele dominated in competitions (particularly the veto comp with her 5 wins) Dick was able to play a mental game that defeated every single person in his path. Even Amber, who hates Dick, had to say that she thought Dick was the better competitor because he was playing the game for two people, himself and his daughter.
Surprisingly, almost everyone in the house voted for Dick to win, saying that they focused on who played the fame to the fullest. In the end, only Jameka and Jen voted for Daniele to win.
The rest of the evicted house guests were also there on finale night and we got to hear a bit from them. Nick looked hot (as always!) Joe was amusing and kinda made me feel like he got voted out too soon. If I had to pick between him and Dustin, I would have much rather kept Joe in the house because, though he was also arrogant at times, at least he was funny.
Janelle was also in attendance tonight and holding a big sign that said “We trust the Donatos”. She seemed very happy that they were in the final two and very happy that Dick won.

Amber totally ripped Eric a new ass today. As most of us know, Amber told Eric that she’d had two abortions, then lied about having two more abortions to hurt her boyfriend a few years back. It seems that Eric had planned to use that information to blackmail Amber into doing what he wanted in the game. She didn’t take kindly to that idea, so she screamed at him about it.
I hate Amber, but I really hope this blowout seals Eric’s eviction this week. I’m over his weird twitching, his weasel game play, and that one eyebrow that sticks way up whenever he’s in the Diary Room. Go home, Eric!
Why do all these good moments have to happen when I’m at work?!
This was on YouTube as “Eric slips up about America’s Player”. I don’t know if it’s really a slip up, but he did mention America casting his vote. Still, I’m sure the morons in the house didn’t catch it. Sometimes I think BB8 is the dumbest cast ever. I can’t think of any other season that contained so many idiots. Even Kaysar’s group in BB6, who made some pretty big mistakes, didn’t consistently screw up this many times.

You guys know how much I like Amber (lol), so here’s our lovely lady bashing the Jews. Racist statements, drug addiction, two abortions and lying about two more to hurt her boyfriend, yet Amber thinks she’s as classy as Princess Dianna. What universe does she live in?!
If I have to watch Amber’s ugly mouth as she talks about stupid shit one more time, I’m gonna freak out! This girl is a total fucktard!!!

Dick nominated Kail and Jen (Awesome!!!)
Nominations could change depending on the results of the Veto competition. If so, then I hope Mike or Zach are nominated. Jen won the veto, but I didn’t see the point in making a new post about it. Dick has been saying that he will nominate Mike to replace her and that Mike will go home instead of Kail. That would be a good move, since Kail is pretty useless and Mike is the only one holding the Kail/Jen/Mike alliance together.
At the food competition they won a grill.
Earlier today, Danielle was telling Amber not to trust Nick. I’m not quite sure what to make of it. She still seems close with Nick, and he seems to be loyal to her, but something might have happened to drive a wedge in between them. I’ll post video if I find it.
I’m not quite sure where Amber stands, since she seems to be blabbing to everyone in the house. Today, there seemed to be a lot of tension between her and Dick. Apparently, they had a big fight. I wasn’t on the feeds at the time, but TheRealDeal2006 posted the video on YouTube. Thanks to nwokpeach, brando115 and insane on BB Chatter for the link.
Kaysar’s been on House Calls a couple times this season, but this time I wasn’t at work, so I actually got a chance to watch most of it. He said if he was in the house, he would form an alliance with Nick (which might be the hottest alliance in BB history) and he wouldn’t target the floaters like he did in BB6. He said a lot of other stuff, but I think I was too busy ogling him like a horny school girl to really pay attention.

Last night, Joe and Dustin got into a semi-fight when Dustin said he would not vote to keep Joe. Joe went on a rant about why Dustin just had to save him. He even begged for his vote and brought all this other stuff in from their past relationship. The fight was one of the more entertaining moments this season and some lovely person put it on YouTube. Here it is. It’s a bit long, about 40 minutes total, but you can view it here in four parts.
Ok, so I didn’t really post this on the 12th, but Kaysar was on House Calls and looking hot!

Big Brother usually has some of the hottest cast members in reality tv. They spend the entire summer tanning, working out, and locked in a house with nothing to do but flirt with each other. Each year, there seems to be a stand-out couple, or potential couple, that sets the internet buzzing with speculation.
The lovely Janelle Pierzina, aka the Buxom Blonde Bombshell, has been involved in two of these “romances”. In season six, everyone was lighting up the chat rooms with theories about her and Kaysar. Last year during the all-star season, she was flirting with BB’s other top male heart throb, Dr. Will.

This clip was big amongst BB geeks like myself because it sounds like Janelle is whispering, “Why won’t you kiss me?” and “I really like you.” in his ear. Janelle had been an Angelina-Jolie-like force in the game and many fans were rather surprised that Will hadn’t given in to her charms. It seemed like the more he rejected her, the more she fell for him.
Their flirtation kept viewers glued to the live feeds because it seemed like they could suddenly hook up at any moment. The hard core fans, like paparazzi, wanted to be there to get the screen captures when and if they finally did. If she was the Angelina Jolie of the game, he was the Brad Pitt and the rumor mill was exploding with analysis of their every move. It was like a whole summer of US Weekly headlines.
I’m sure we can look forward to many more budding romances this season, or at least some amusing flirtations.
Life in the house can get pretty boring after hours on end with nothing to do. Houseguests choose to pass their time in different ways. Some stare into space and talk to themselves like Rachel from BB6, some spend copious amounts of time in the “Jack Shack” like Howie from BB6 and BB7, some choreograph horrible dance routines and talk about how cool and important they think they are like Mike Boogie from BB2 and BB7.
Will and Janelle from last year’s all-star season decided to pass their time by taking walks in the back yard and making up “fantasy dates” where they talked about what it would be like if they dated in high school.

Dr. Will Kirby, or The Evil Doctor as he was known in season 2 and 7, is one of the most memorable cast members in BB history. Before we kick off the new season, I thought I’d post a video of one of Will’s best moments from last year’s all-star season.

Years ago, CBS debuted a new reality series called Big Brother. Back then, the cast was older, the show was more interactive, high-speed internet access was rare, and the live-feeds were tiny, grainy images of a chicken coop for most of the day.
Since then, the show has evolved into a summer guilty pleasure with eye-candy abound. Though there have been new twists in the game (the Power of Veto), new architecture in the house (the addition of a second story and HoH suite) and new houseguests to compete (hotties like Kaysar from BB6 and BB7), the show remains the most real of reality tv.
Unlike most reality shows, which are completely at the mercy of their editors, Big Brother offers something different: a live internet feed from inside the house. This allows viewers to watch all the plotting, strategizing, and back-stabbing that takes place during an average day in the house as it’s happening. These live feeds are what make the show so much better than other “reality” programs like Survivor or The Real World.
Big Brother also has one of the most dedicated fan communities on the web. BB fans are up at all house, watching the feeds, taking screen caps, summarizing any updates, and discussing their favorite alliances. While it may not exactly be Monday Night Football, fans of this show are more into it than any die-hard arm-chair-quarterback.
I’ve been a fan of Big Brother since the first season and I only missed one episode due to a huge storm that passed through my neighborhood and knocked out the power.
Last year, I started a blog for Big Brother All-Stars, my dream season, featuring some of my favorite players from seasons past. That blog became pretty popular, and I’ve decided to go for it again this year with Big Brother 8.
This blog will feature updates, commentary, links and even a few screencaps or YouTube videos from this season and maybe even from past seasons too.
