America’s Player is back

They’re bringing back the “America’s Player” twist this year–God knows why!– and giving viewers a chance to vote online for who they want to play for them.
Here’s a link to the voting page.
I have no recommendations as to who you should vote for because I just don’t care about any of these schmucks enough to root for a single one of them. It might be funny if it was Jessie because voters could totally fuck up his game like they did with Eric, the original “America’s Player” from BB8.

I saw tonight’s show and had mixed feelings about bringing back America’s player. I liked the idea of America’s player but I did not like the way America used the player last time. They kept trying to get the guy evicted. I mean, come on! I know there wasn’t much love there but it destroys the spirit of the concept.
The veto show was uneventful. They hyped Jerry and Memphis getting into it but it wasn’t that bad. I don’t much like Jerry anymore. I am not a big fan of Memphis (but he is growing on me now that he has removed his Village People beard) but he had a point about Jerry. Jerry comments a lot (at least on tv) about people and their outside lives. Its one thing to call out people for what they do inside the house and bring into the house (i.e. Ollie saying he is a preacher’s son but does not act like that) but its quite another to make judgements about the way people lead their lives based on what they do in the game. I don’t know if its the way CBS is editing the shows but Jerry seems a bit nasty to me.
Also, I am moving over to the side of Jesse and company. I wasn’t really on anyone’s side but I am kinda rooting for Jesse, Angie, Michelle, Memphis and floater Dan. Initially I liked Keesha’s nomination because she voted w/ heart and emotion. Then I questioned it because thats not smart game play. Her nominations were good though. But then I was thinking, she was intent on getting rid of April but now she wants her. She said she did not like Libra that much but yet she remains loyal. A lot of noticeable inconsistencies with Keesha.
Also, and I know you are not going to like this, but Libra is this year’s Will except she is less likeable. I think I said it earlier, but she runs that house, people know it, want her gone, yet she is still here. I remember when people called for Will to be nominated but because of loyality they did not. What happened? Will won one year and was in the top 5 another. Libra really is not likeable but she is a great player. She has had a huge target on her back since the beginning of the game yet she still remains. You have to respect her game play.
