Dan might make it

Memphis won the PoV and said he plans to take Dan off the block so that Renny will go up. Of course, they plan on voting her out. It’ll be sad to see Renny go because I would have loved her and Dan in the final two, but as long as Dan doesn’t go home, somebody’s gotta go.

It’s a good plan for Memphis because he can be double covered if he keeps Keesha and Dan. He’s made deals with both of them to go to the final two. All he needs to do now is have them get rid of Jerry, then throw the final HoH knowing that either of them will take him to the finals and he still looks like the good guy because he remained a floater and didn’t piss anyone off.

Also, according to Morty’s TV the double eviction episode received really high ratings. Good going CBS!

Personally, I’ve found this season rather boring. The past few seasons have been pretty bland, in fact. If it weren’t for Dick Donato, BB8 would have sucked and BB9 was pretty much a wash with two douche bags making it to the finals and an annoying lactating stripper leading the God Squad to victory over and over. The only redeeming factor in that entire show was James and his kooky antics.

Anyway, we’re getting down to the wire and I’m going to try to amp up my coverage and return to live blogging during the shows… but don’t hold me to that. With the DNC over, I should have more free time.

  1. No spoilers here. I am curious to hear what you thought of the jury house on the eviction episode. Was it me or was April portrayed as a bi…? I am not sure because I am biased against her and obviously think she is one. I think you will like the sit down interview with the person evicted and the preceding video package.

  2. Spoilers now.

Dan won the HoH and nominated Jerry and Memphis. He is still tight with Memphis and wants to take him to the final two but both him and Memphis are concerned about the veto and fear that if Jerry or Keesha won it and put Memphis up, Memphis would go home. Memphis seems to be on board with it. The nomination ceremony served a lot of purposes for both Dan and Memphis. Memphis sold that he was upset about the nomination and Jerry believes there is a split. Keesha feels relatively safe at the moment, so possibly drawing her back into her alliance with Dan and Memphis. Memphis now has a chance to re-establish his personal alliances with Jerry and Keesha since both now feel there must be some kind of fracture between Dan and Memphis. They don’t sense any hostility but feel maybe Dan does not think he can beat Memphis.

Luxury competition. There was a luxury competition where one house guest could leave the house for one day to be taken to a remote beach island. Dan won and he had the choice of taking one house guest or jury member. Dan did not want to offend anyone in the house or give an inkling that he was in a particular alliance so he opted to take a jury member. That jury member was…..Michelle! Dan felt she was slighted the most especially since he bent her over and backdoored her. He is hoping that the day he has with her he has the opportunity to win her vote. Dan did not tell the other house guests about this secret rendezvous only that he will be going by himself.

General thoughts and feeling: The show is getting kind of boring. I still see Jerry, Keesha, and even Memphis as floaters so its really only Dan who is making strategy and actually executing it. Jerry is pretty good about thinking up strategy but often fails in reaching his goals. I feel CBS should shift the focus of the show to the jury house. Even though its been around for a few seasons now, we really don’t see how the people interact while there. Have the house guests left their feelings in the house or does it carry with them into the jury house? This viewer is curious.

This and that: Jesse is the first BB house guest to actually get work as an actor. He played the gorilla in the luxury competition. The next season of big brother apparently has been green lit. You should and the folks over at BB Chatter (?) should submit an entry for the show. You guys seem to know what you want out of the show, so maybe you guys can make it a reality. Live veto this Tuesday. Go Memphis! Also, I hope he does survive to next week and wins the HoH. I know there isn’t any special luxuries he gets as being the final HoH (except going into the finals and selecting who will be there with him) but he is the only one has not seen pictures from home. He is a strong dude and I don’t think really minds but it would be nice if he got the opportunity to see his family and girlfriend.
