Week 2 – Evictions
The Big Brother house is about to evict their second house guest and I am not sure if I am just tired or quickly getting bored. Last episode when Russell could have been backdoored was an indication that Big Brother is beginning to fall back into its same routine. Lets hope tonight’s eviction episode does not follow.
Hmm, I am debating whether to live blog like I have done with other episodes or just give a reactionary piece at the end because so far, yawn!!! I think I did mention last week the eviction show is my least favorite of the triplet. This episode so far is not making me reconsider in the least bit.
The starting focus of the show centers around Laura trying to convince Ronnie to keep her in the house. This might be interesting to a first time viewer but to a regular like myself, I know this is a waste of time. One because of his actions over the last week and two, Big Brother history shows us that the person who campaigns the hardest usually leaves. Bye Laura.
The show does start to get interesting again as Ronnie is up to his old tricks or rather trick since all he does is lie. Nominations are in, the veto has been used, my hope is with nothing that can be changed the house guests finally call Ronnie on his bullshit. Some might say too little too late but I say, get him! I think Ronnie might have bitten off more than he can chew because he tries to throw Russell under the bus and states he is trying to keep Laura. This HoH has made Ronnie think his dick has doubled in size because I don’t know how much blood is getting to his brain anymore. Ronnie has been afraid of Russell all game so far but now is bad mouthing him any chance he can get. Laura brings the entire house outside to settle the matter and she just continues to get hotter. I think she knows she is likely to go home but she is making sure she leaves a mark on the game by exposing Ronnie. Ronnie can’t find the words to defend himself so like a corrupt politician or businessman, he pleads the 5th. Maybe its best this happened close to eviction night because now he is going to be a prime candidate to be nominated. A few moments after I write that, Russell says just that. Great stuff!!!
Ronnie, like the coward that he is, retreats to his room and pouts. He says he should have put up Russell. Duh! He should have also evicted Chima last week. I know Ronnie has been profiled plenty in the show but don’t believe he is the typical brain. Brains come in many different ways. You have your Ronnies, your Chimas, and your Micheles. If you have been following the show this season, you know how drastically different each person is.
Back to the show. Ronnie continues to cower in his room in fear of his house mates. Big Brother doesn’t like that and asks him to come to the diary room. Russell hears this and volunteers to escort Ronnie there. For his wife’s and his mother’s sake, I do hope Ronnie doesn’t mess himself before he gets to the diary room. Its unclear if he actually did mess himself but the next time we see Ronnie he is in different clothes so I have to wonder. Russell has now become the badass hero because the heck Ronnie should have been getting all week, Russell is determined to make up for that (x10). He follows Ronnie everywhere and for the first time in a long time, Ronnie’s mouth is shut.
Now its time to toot my own horn. I wondered out loud about when Russell will have his breakdown and to what magnitude? Give yourself a prize if you said a little more than twelve days and a serious breakdown. I guess you should thank Russell for that latter part. What a pussy. Men don’t cry and what makes it even worse, the dude faked cried. Oh come on dude! America isn’t falling for that and if I hear any of you did, stay far away from me or I may just shake you.
The eviction ceremony started off well by Natalie (by the way, have I mentioned what a great woman she is yet?) by saying the house is still united against Ronnie. Logic would dictate that Ronnie should be the next to go but then again, logic dictated Chima should have been evicted last week and Russell should have been evicted this week. During the ceremony, Julie mentions some internet nicknames you guys have given Ronnie and I liked the suqare root of all evil one. That was pretty clever guys. I wouldn’t call him evil but I did chuckle. Since Ronnie is talking I will take this time to toot my horn some more (not in that way you perverts). I called Ronnie’s choice to evict Braden as a sign that he is choosing quality (the athletes) over quantity (the outsiders) and he just confirmed it. I also called it that if Ronnie makes one misstep he would be in serious trouble and he is as discussed earlier.
I unfortunately heard the tail end of Ronnie’s conversation and he said he has at least five people who are on his side even after the mess he pulled the last two weeks. I want to shake my head but past experience has said don’t expect the logical answer so who knows, maybe the dude is right. Here is the live vote:
Jeff: Laura (duh)
Jesse: Laura (duh)
Natalie: Jordan (okay…)
Casey: Laura
Russell: Laura
Kevin: Laura
Lydia: Laura
Chima: Laura
Michele: Laura
If Natalie hadn’t decided to shake things up a bit, my prediction would have been spot on. I am not angry at her though. I could never be angry at Natalie
. Wait, I should never say never but its very unlikely. Laura left the house very classy. You got to respect that. We go back to the house and once again, Ronnie is isolated. Please house guests, implore logic and stick to the plan of booting Ronnie next week.
The HoH competition was next and Jesse won the head of household. There is still a good chance Ronnie gets nominated this week but Jesse or Natalie winning were his two best shots at sticking around in this game.
My nomination predictions:
Ronnie – for obvious reasons
Jeff – for obvious reasons
If you are still awake, good night!
