Last night, hordes of people flocked to midnight screenings of IRON MAN2. In addition to seeing the movie, they were also treated with an exclusive teaser for J.J. Abrams’ new film ‘Super 8′. Some clever person with a camera phone uploaded the trailer to YouTube and here it is in all it’s shaky-camera-phone-bootleg glory. Who knows how long this’ll be up, so catch it while it lasts.

In some bizarre turn of events, we now have a news item that combines Kanye West’s ridiculous mic-hogging douchebaggery from last night’s VMAs and Hollywood “Wolf” Yates from American Gladiators.

TMZ reports that Wolf had this to say about Kanye…

“Hey this is Hollywood Yates or WOLF from American Gladiators.

Just thought Kanye might want to know I hang with alot of the Country Artist and I will bump into him somewhere… HARD and several times!!! He is an ass and needs taken down, maybe Criss B can be there too. School is about to open and lessons about to be taught!

So Megan McCain is like a passover gift, “relevant only during cycles of 8 days” and today in particular, she manages to post her entire *cough* career through twitter in response to a recent co-worker comment. What we have learned is that she curses, she is ignorant and doesn’t realize the silver spoon in her mouth, and she doesn’t proofread 140 characters or less. Here is a small piece of her tirade.

Last time we read Megan McCain and Tila have an engaging conversation. Today we found a bf (Bitch-fit from White Chicks) between Lady Sovereign and Perez Hilton. Lady Sovereign totally bailed on Perez’s party in Austin. Her excuse, which he publicized on his blog, was that she had partied to hard. This is Wil Chinchilla from Trashwire.com and I’m here at SXSW Film + Interactive covering everything that is going on in both festivals. I was at the after party for the new gamer movie 2 Bobs that is going to show again tomorrow. As I was talking to people from promotion I saw a screen that was looping a trailer video. I took a picture of the screen and I wondered why Midway’s Logo would be on the screen if they have filed for chapter 11. Did they sponsor the movie?? If so with what money?

I have a little side project/hobby that I’ve been working on for a couple months now called WeakTwin.com. It’s a blog where I post pictures of celebrities who look like the lesser versions, or weak twins, of other celebrities.

Today I had a post that involved two of my favorite trashy pop culture figures, Heidi Montag and Chris Crocker. I just couldn’t resist reposting it here.

Chris “Leave Britney Alone!” Crocker and his friend, porn star Cameron Michaels, hit Robertson Blvd. looking a lot like another pop culture couple we know. I always thought Chris Crocker looked a bit like Heidi Montag, but this only confirms it. Now if only his boy toy would grow a creepy flesh-colored beard.
