I was planning on writing a blog post about last night’s “Fishsticks” episode of South Park, but the ever-so-clever Michael K from DListed has beat me to the punch.

Here’s a quick bite:

The words “gay” and “fish” usually cancel each other out, but Matt & Trey made it work on South Park last night. The words came together just for Kanye West. The term “gay fish” was born for him. During the episode, Kanye realizes that he loves fishdick and he dives into the ocean so that he can be gay with the fishes and toss their gills. Gay Fish Kanye even sings a song in his signature Atari ’84 voice. Totally authentic. Kanye was really meant to be a gay fish

It seems that the whole world is anxiously awaiting Kanye’s response. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that he’ll take to his blog, label Trey & Matt “squid brains” and use this as a platform to officially cement his role as “the voice of this decade of this generation”. Oh Kanye, don’t let me down!

Of course, Trey & Matt also get bonus points for their superb Carlos Mencia diss.

SOUTH PARK MURDERED ME LAST NIGHT AND IT’S PRETTY FUNNY. IT HURTS MY FEELINGS BUT WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT FROM SOUTH PARK! I ACTUALLY HAVE BEEN WORKING ON MY EGO THOUGH. HAVING THE CRAZY EGO IS PLAYED OUT AT THIS POINT IN MY LIFE AND CAREER. I USE TO USE IT TO BUILD UP MY ESTEEM WHEN NOBODY BELIEVED IN ME. DVD commentary tracks can be the best special feature

For years now, I’ve been quite the DVD commentary enthusiast. It began with the drunken track on the Cannibal: The Musical DVD featuring intoxicatingly funny conversation from an intoxicated Trey Parker and Matt Stone. That track showed that commentaries can be genuinely “special” features… if filmmakers use them to their full potential.
