Trey Parker and Matt Stone decided to pop in to a freshman class at NYU and the New York Times has a little clip of the duo droppin’ some knowledge about their writing process. Definitely worth checking out!

If I were to die and go to heaven, it might look a lot like this. As a long-time South Park fan, I couldn’t wait to see the Ultimate South Park Fan Experience here at San Diego Comic Con. They had the main street of the town set up, complete with Tom’s Rhinoplasty and all. They also had a full cafeteria where they gave away free t-shirts to people who checked in on Foursquare. They also had a temporary tattoo station where I got a Mitch Connor airbrush tattoo. Here are some pics of the scene at the South Park Ultimate Fan Experience today.

Trey Parker and Matt Stone stopped by The Daily Show to talk about The Book of Mormon and how they’ve become Broadway elitists. Super funny clip and definitely worth checking out.

I was planning on writing a blog post about last night’s “Fishsticks” episode of South Park, but the ever-so-clever Michael K from DListed has beat me to the punch.

Here’s a quick bite:

The words “gay” and “fish” usually cancel each other out, but Matt & Trey made it work on South Park last night. The words came together just for Kanye West. The term “gay fish” was born for him. During the episode, Kanye realizes that he loves fishdick and he dives into the ocean so that he can be gay with the fishes and toss their gills. Gay Fish Kanye even sings a song in his signature Atari ’84 voice. Totally authentic. Kanye was really meant to be a gay fish

It seems that the whole world is anxiously awaiting Kanye’s response. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that he’ll take to his blog, label Trey & Matt “squid brains” and use this as a platform to officially cement his role as “the voice of this decade of this generation”. Oh Kanye, don’t let me down!

Of course, Trey & Matt also get bonus points for their superb Carlos Mencia diss.

The best line, and possibly the best thing Kanye’s ever said:

For years now, I’ve been quite the DVD commentary enthusiast. It began with the drunken track on the Cannibal: The Musical DVD featuring intoxicatingly funny conversation from an intoxicated Trey Parker and Matt Stone. That track showed that commentaries can be genuinely “special” features… if filmmakers use them to their full potential.
