Rock of Love Bus: The bottomless pit of Celebreality
Whenever I think reality tv has hit rock bottom, something new comes on that takes it to an all new low. The latest contender is Rock of Love Bus on VH1. The show follows Bret Michaels (who used to be known for being the lead singer of Poison but is now a puffy, middle aged reality star) and the gaggle of skanks vying for his affection, or at least a little tv time. Every now and then, a show comes along that is so spectacularly horrifying that it becomes an instant trash tv classic. The Surreal Life Fame Games is that show. It takes a lot to be the biggest douche in the Surreal Life universe, but Jordan Knight took the title in the first episode. Not only did he spend the entire time he was in the house bitching and moaning about every single thing, but then he got a call saying his grandma died and he cried and left. VH1 spin offs spin out of control with “I Love New York”
Those of you who could actually get through an episode of Flavor of Love without puking will be pleased to hear that everyone’s favorite Head-Bitch-In-Charge is back with her very own reality dating show. That’s right, New York (real name Tiffany Pollard), the psychotic diva from both seasons one and two of Flavor of Love is back on VH1 and looking for love once again. Vintage Trashwire – ‘Flavor of Love’ or flavor of vomit
Flavor of Love 2 debuted tonight on VH1 and I can safely say it was as bad as the Holocaust. First off, the girls look less like soap stars than they did last year and more like the kind of hookers that work at truck stops… in the daytime. If you put them all together you’d only have one full set of teeth.
