So… I meant to get on this sooner, but I’ve been super busy.

It seems that some law students at University of Connecticut thought it might be funny to have a “Bullets and Bubbly” party where they dressed up like rap stars, complete with gold teeth, guns and bling. This was shortly after MLK day and several other students were horrified when they saw pictures from the event on Facebook.

They weren’t alone. Some kids at a school in Texas also threw a party in celebration of Martin Luther King Jr. by dressing up as Aunt Jemima and flashing fake gang signs. You can see read more about that event and see all those picutres on The Smoking gun HERE.

I really don’t know what to think about my generation sometimes.
