As if it wasn’t crazy enough…

The list of Anna Nicole conspiracy theories is growing faster than the list of potential fathers in the days after Anna Nicole’s death.

My favorite so far is the one that involves an elaborate scheme by Howard K. Stern to marry Anna Nicole and then take the money that she is supposed to get from the estate of J. Howard Marshall.

In this theory, which is apparently gaining a following in the media, Stern hatched his scheme in 1994, when Anna Nicole first married the 90-year-old billionaire. The plot was that when Marshall died, Stern would help Anna Nicole secure the inheritance. After this, he would lay low for over a decade, then marry her, putting him in line for the cash. He would then kill her and the only heir listed in her will, her son Daniel. He would also make sure he was the legal father of any other children she might have had, hoping that they were still under 18 at the time of her death. Then, after going on tv to talk about how much he missed her, he would collect the cash. So basically, he would marry her, establish trust for 13 years, and then kill her and make off with the money.

It’s more elaborate and unbelievable than the stuff on Lost.

Anyway, more theories keep rolling in and it seems that everyone has an opinion. In fact, Judge Judy was just on Larry King Live talking about the case. It’s really gripping the nation in a way I never expected.

While I’m trying to not devote too much time to the case, I’m sure we’ll have more to report in the near future.
