Most people assume that because they cannot afford a music badge/wristband for SXSW Music shows all hope is lost. Well here’s a tidbit for ya, the free parties around Austin, Texas going on during SXSW showcases some of the best bands that aren’t even signed. A past non-SXSW alumnus includes The Decemberists and some major record label artists play free shows around town.
