Is ‘Sasquatch Sunset’ the Weirdest Movie of the Year?

Sasquatch Sunset is an 88-minute, dialogue-free film about Sasquatches featuring an unrecognizable Riley Keough and Jesse Eisenberg, and it’s one of the weirder films you might see this year.

Check out my quick review of Sasquatch Sunset on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, and follow me on Letterboxd to see what I’m watching.

I recently made a video about one of the weirdest movies I’ve ever seen, but now I have a new movie to add to my weird list.

Sasquatch Sunset is a dialogue-free, 88-minute film about four Sasquatches living in the woods. It’s simultaneously ridiculous, touching, bizarre, and intriguing.

Somewhat well-known stars Riley Keough and Jesse Eisenberg are in the primary roles, though they’re unrecognizable under prosthetics, heavy makeup, and Sasquatch costumes. Their performances are impressive, with Keough, in particular, giving a wide range of emotions despite never speaking a single line.

Though I wouldn’t necessarily say I enjoyed it, I found it interesting and I respect what it was doing.
