Normally, it’s a bad idea when celebrities blog. They typically have nothing to say, can’t seem to figure out the shift key, and use sentences that run on like a marathon athlete. There are,...

Jemaine Clement and Bret McKenzie are really funny guys and very skilled musicians. Those two talents converged on Thursday night when their band, Flight of the Conchords, played Ellie Caulkins Opera House in Denver. McKenzie and Clement proved they were musical chameleons by playing a diverse setlist that featured almost all the hits from their HBO series as well as a couple of new surprises. After the show, the guys greeted fans outside the stage door, singing autographs and posing for pictures.
Since I talked about it so much, I thought I’d post these videos I found on YouTube of the My Chemical Romance concert in Denver 4/14/08. I was in the front and couldn’t sneak...

Upon his arrival in the US, he befriends a rebellious college student named Max (Joe Anderson) and ends up falling for Max’s preppy sister Lucy (Evan Rachel Wood)….

This past Thursday, I had the opportunity to go to the Taking Back Sunday concert at the Fillmore here in Denver. It was sunny outside, the line wasn’t too long, and venue is only a few blocks from my house, so I was really excited to go.
As most of you know by now, I am a huge fan of My Chemical Romance. Though I might not fit their target demographic, I absolutely love their music, their videos and their whole vibe. Last night, I was one of the lucky ones who saw their show at Magness Arena in Denver.

When George Lucas decided to revive the Star Wars saga, it was his goal to give fans a back-story of how exactly Anakin Skywalker transformed into Darth Vader. We knew how the story ended, but he wanted to show everyone how it began. Unfortunately for Lucas, the new Star Wars trilogy was, by most accounts, not very good. Unlike Lucas, when Tenacious D aims to tell audiences the history of how they became the greatest band in the world, they do a damn good job of it.
