When she’s not pulling a Mel Gibson and blaming the Jews (Sarah Silverman) for her shitty performance, Britney Spears makes up lots of other excuses for why she sucked so hard.
First, it was that Silverman’s jokes were harsh and she was pissed about it, so she chose to do a really bad performance in protest.
Next, she claimed that the bejeweled heel of her boot was broken and she didn’t dance because she was afraid she’d fall.
Now, we’re hearing that she was watching the monitors as she performed and was so embarrassed to be looking fat that she became very distracted.
If that wasn’t enough, there are also reports that she was horrible because she got in a fight with hair stylist Ken Paves before the show and was so upset that she couldn’t concentrate. Apparently Britney wanted her hair brown for the VMA performance, but her management told her she wasn’t allowed and she was furious, causing the rift between her and Paves. Some reports have him walking out on her in the middle of styling her hair, other say she got snotty and fired him. Either way, most sources are saying that she ended up doing her hair herself… thought I still believe she let Sean Preston and Jayden James do it.
Can’t she just go with the real reason: she was out partying like a fat drunken whore and was too hungover to perform properly?
I just saw the performance on YouTube, and it was the most painful time ever! So horrible, and it doesn’t matter who she blames; it will never erase it from the minds of those who suffered through it. No matter what she does, her career is over!
