Sebastian Maniscalo tours the ‘Wild West’ with Vince Vaughn

Sebastian Maniscalo has been pursing his stand-up career for ten years now, and his role as the new “golden boy” of comedy has come through a lot of hard work and sacrifice. Maniscalo has been on many late show programs but his recent role in the new documentary Vince Vaughn’s Wild West Comedy Show has enabled Maniscalo’s star to grow. I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry is another Happy Madison production brought to the big screen. The film is about two firefighters that have a gay relationship and go to a mountain to….wait, that’s not it. In this film, two straight firefighters Chuck (Adam Sandler) and Larry (Kevin James) pretend to be gay to secure pension money. There have been several scathing reviews of the film including one titled “I Now Pronounce You Stereotypical and Racist”.

Those of you who were fans of the animated series could end up just as disappointed as I was by Michael Bay’s live-action version of Transformers. It wasn’t necessarily a bad film but it certainly wasn’t as great as all the hype made it out to be. Of course Hollywood has to downgrade an epic story like this, just like they did with X-Men. he movie did not water-down the series so much, but like every movie that has such a large fan base, it’s hard to tell what could have, would have, and should have happened.
