Grammy Predictions…

Ok, despite all of the drama of some nominee’s I will predict, with no bias, who will win what nomination. I will have to live with the consequences of being wrong forever for your entertainment.

Producer of the Year Non-Classical-Timbaland. His biggest competition will be Mark Ronson.

Best Comedy Album-Lisa Lampanelli. Competition is Flight of the Concords. If Adam Sandler hasn’t one a music based comedy album then I believe neither will Flight of the Concords. (I still love them and please don’t hate me Alexis) Best

Tropical Latin Album-Juan Luis Guerra. Hey I’m spanish I got to represent.

Best Latin Urban Album-Calle 13

Best Rap Album-Common. I think Kanye will never win. He will be the Susan Lucci of Hip-hop

Best Rap Song-Soulja Boy. I hate to say it but hey produced his own record and he is like 17 so good for him…I guess.

Best Alternative Album-Arcade Fire. It released early in the year and it had the blessing of Saturday Night Live.

Best Rock Album-Foo Fighters. Enough Said

Best Pop Vocal Album-Amy Winehouse. Her voice is something no one could have ever comprehended. Part Rock, Jazz, and Pop, the lyrics to her tone are Magic!!!

Best New Artist-Amy Winehouse. Paramore has a shot though because the lead singer is only 16, there is definitely some competition but I am going out on a limb and just say that Amy will take it all.

Song of the Year-Umbrella. It has been remixed so many times I think Amy will have to lose this one.

Album of the Year-Back to Black.

Record of the Year-Rehab. It’s the instrumentals, im telling you it will get the academy.
