Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves is a fantasy story more in line with Guardians of the Galaxy than Lord of the Rings. Frankly, that type of lighthearted movie is a welcome one in a landscape where every PG-13 adventure feels weighed down with franchise expectations.

Not since the days of The Last Jedi has a movie been this polarizing, but with Don’t Look Up, at least people are fighting about something real this time instead of lightsabers.

Gas up the Ecto-1 because the Ghostbusters are back. Here’s the new trailer for Ghostbusters: Afterlife.
When the primary antagonist of your movie is a literal talking douche, it’s fair to say that you’re not aiming for intelligent humor. Sadly, Sausage Party feels like a weak attempt to create an edgy animated satire, only aiming for the lowest-hanging comedy fruit and missing the chance to live up to its inventive concept.
Remember when The Interview came out and everyone decided that seeing a silly little comedy was some kind of patriotic act of defiance to North Korea? The all-female Ghostbusters reboot is a lot like that—a silly little comedy that somehow ignited a culture war on the internet and became way more significant than it probably should have been.
Whenever stars of TV sketch comedy transition to the big screen, the question on everyone’s mind is: will this just feel like a sketch stretched out to 90 minutes? Thankfully with Keanu, the answer is no. Yes, there are some lulls and a few jokes that don’t always land, but the impeccable chemistry between the two makes their dialogue exchanges absolutely hilarious. And did I mention that adorable kitten?
You’d be remiss to write off Inside Amy Schumer as “chick comedy” and discount how smart is it. While there are jokes about periods, bikini waxes, and other more female-slanting topics, this is one of the sharpest shows on Comedy Central—and this is a network that is home to my favorite show of all time, South Park. In the season 4 premiere, Amy Schumer brings her trademark sharp, edgy humor to topics like relationship politics, actual politics, and even the Broadway smash Hamilton, all with her witty and unique spin that we love so much.
