P.M. trailer showcases Colorado filmmakers

Chances are, most of you know I’m kind of a film nerd. In my nerdy travels, I worked at the Colorado Film Commission, where I met Ben Martinez. Now he and friends Dave Franco and Kris Simms have made a movie—and based on this trailer it looks like a good one! Check out the trailer for P.M. here on Trashwire and support these great local filmmakers.

Synopsis:
There have been over thirty thousand cattle mutilations in Southern Colorado and Northern New Mexico since the 1960’s- gruesome scenes where cows are found with surgical-like incisions, missing organs and completely drained of blood. Often, there are no predator tracks to be found. Despite the devastating impact on local ranchers and an FBI investigation, there have been zero mutilation related convictions. This has spawned a whole host of UFO and governmental conspiracies, and Colorado’s San Luis Valley is the epicenter for the phenomenon. There, the crew from Paranormal Mysteries tries to solve one of the world’s most enduring supernatural riddles. After interviewing local mutilation experts, ardent skeptics and a prominent ufologist, the crew ventures onto government restricted grazing lands for their nighttime investigation. Their superficial formulaic production quickly unravels as an unknown predator attacks them. The crew quickly discovers that some mysteries are not meant to be solved. P.M., a found footage, sci-fi, horror film, is shot and edited in the same vein as District 9 and The Blair Witch Project, blending documentary analysis with terrifying found footage to tell the story of these wayward travelers.
